    Mechanical failure confirmed.

Odd place to have an off in such a way with anything other than that

Either steering or suspension problem. That said let’s hope it gets sorted ASAP, and thank goodness Seb wasn’t hurt....

According to motorsport, seems like Leclerc may be able to do some laps in the latter part of the afternoon as Ferrari stated that the car wouldn't be back on track for several hours.

Either tyre failure or suspension failure but it all happened on the left side.

To me looks like something like the engine or the turbo suddenly let go and sprayed oil al over

To me, it's either the tyre blowing OR the front wing dragging from either the tyre failure or suspension failure...then of course more smoke as the car plows into the gravel. Still no confirmation as to the mechanical failure.

Looked like he couldn't steer the thing at all. you don't want to crash head on for sure.If the power steering packed up it should still be driveable no?
