Tending to sticky parts is a maintenance issue, not a mod.

I wouldn't call my car, with the challenge grill and tubi exhaust and test pipes, to be molested. But that's just me.

My car gets molested every week ;)
I drive it a lot (yesterday) and it hasn’t been washed in months......it has rock chips on top of rock chips behind the back tires.
....and it just turned over 43,000 miles, I plan on molesting it some more this weekend.

I agree but I would term it a restoration item vs maintenance :)

Tubi headers and test pipes, Cappy bypass valve, immobilizer bypass, Goth CEL delete box.
All easily returned to stock. Original parts saved and stored for the future.

Changing what sux from the factory is a plus in my book, and this particular model had quite a few of those items vs. other models.

'95 Spider. 22k mi. Only things not original are the tires, oil filter, and dash sticky/leather fixes. I do plan on changing out the exhaust in the future.

Mine has bolt on mods, but I've kept all of the stock pieces to put it back to 100% stock, exception being the stereo (which was gone when I bought it). No desire to, though. No cosmetic mods, all are functional. I'd only put CF on it if it was structural and reduced weight - like for the bumpers, but they'd be painted anyway. Interior has been de-stickied, has H&R springs, challenge exhaust, stock headers, cat bypass pipes. Oh, there are stock items I won't be going back to, I replaced the stock engine mounts with challenge versions and the stock throwout bearing with a Hill unit.

I think my current two cars are completely stock. I know my 1999 F1 GTS is 100% stock - does radar detector count, dang it! But No mods, no exhaust, no nothing. My other car, 1999 GTB is suppose to be 100% stock - does have a Tubi Muffler, but installed by Ferrari - trying to figure that out. Very interesting car - said to much.....shush!

The rear wing was added in 1998, the year it was introduced and the last year my car raced. The front tow hook was there in 1995 but doesn't show up well in the picture. Front and rear tow hooks were mandatory in the Series.

Mine has a 360 F1 pump upgrade and a Tubi exhaust with the cats deleted.

    Stock otherwise...for now.

Mine was bone stock until just recently. Full fabspeed exhaust, upgraded brakes and aluminum radiators. Those are the big 3 weakspots on the f355.

this thread got me thinking, I have done loads of subtle modifications to my 355, all are completely reversible, so if someday i need to put the car back to factory spec. I have all the original parts in mint condition stored away - apart from the original catalysers.

The cats on my car were aftermarket when I bought it, they were also rubbish quality and the cores had completely disintegrated, in the skip!

But yesterday I managed to find these, from a UK car, same year as mine, with both sets of sensors - they were removed from a car years ago with only 300 miles on them and carefully stored.

No intention of fitting them but so pleased to have them....

    No one asked me...;)
I even have the original FRONT license plate bracket!

I agree with Dave rocks (Sticky Rx):
"Everyone enjoys these cars a different way. No wrong answer. Some want 100% stock, others mild mods, others totally modified.
    To each his own :)"

Mine was pretty much 100% stock when I bought it. I put high flow cars, capristo exhaust and valve, upgraded speakers, new head unit right away. All the original parts are in my attic. It was just too quiet with stock exhaust but I always want to be able to put it back.
