I seem to remember seeing that for sale somewhere or at least posted here somewhere. Get it cheap enough it might not be too bad to put back to right. I'd almost be willing to be most of that body work is piss poor quality and you could get it off without too much damage.

That's hot! Totally reminds me of a red back to the future meets DeLorean 80's Lambo.

I'd buy it for $4k and restore it back to original if the body wasn't too botched.

If that car could talk, it would be saying “Kill me. Please. For the love of God please just kill me.”

Looks like it’s sporting lower rockers off a Lotus turbo Esprit and maybe fiberglass 355 replica rear clip?
Bet the owner goes to bed every night and prays for a garage fire.

Just about spit my drink out after seeing those photos! That would make a Fiero replica look like a priceless piece of art!

It’d be funny to buy as a goof and take to shows like you’re super proud of it; or to valet it everywhere and insist it stays in front of the hotel or restaurant.

    :eek:Was that born a 348?

Why did no one stop them?
The walmart worker who repeatedly sold them the autobody materials could have talked sense into him!

The salvage yard or hardware store cashier, even the bartender or crack dealer he hung out with soo often had a chance to talk him off the ledge!

Looks to be more of a Mondial "t"coupe. Door frames tell the tail. Either way, that is awful.

The 308 GT/4 has always been one of my favorites. This is an 'interesting' styling exercise. Not for me, but someone spent a lot of money making this happen.

When I thought it was a bit tasteless, I noticed the NJ license plate and it brought everything into focus! :)

I do find that I have an eclectic taste and some may say even perverse appreciation of individual cars. A very libertarian attitude, but the thing that crosses the line for me is some replica/kit cars.

Now I understand certain replica/kit cars are fully functional and for most intents and purposes are 'the same' as the original (sometimes even better.) Alternatively, in other cases, a car is 'upgraded' for improved performance.

I'm not talking about those -- to me these are utilitarian exercises, and I fully get it.

    No,

I'm talking about things like a FieroF40 or Probe360 or VetteDaytona. I guess the reason I fundamentally dislike this act is at the very 'core' they are meant to fool, trick, and deceive. Just not a good way to present yourself in my honest opinion.

    So it’s back.

This car did the rounds a few years ago and was discussed in the 308 section. If I remember well the owner owned or worked in a body shop and while the alterations are an abomination, the work was supposedly of high quality. Car was originally out of northern NJ/ NYC area.

Well, it is a bit creative to mount an air scoop backwards on the back of the car and have a miniature pony standing guard against ingesting mosquitoes in the vehicle's wake.
