Beautiful boat!! Been looking at Princess Yachts lately, I love being on the water. Let me know if you ever need someone to help test out the new bar and I'll be there!!
Busy day at the boat. Welding, electricians, AV guys, sign guys, wrap guys, carpenters, a full day to say the least. Too bad I'm not there to see it all happen in person.. New TV lift is in, AV rack is almost done, speakers getting wired etc. Signage is a work in progress. Bar top in Plexiglass was made today.. All of this work being done at a marina and not a yard.. Very lucky my captain has a good relationship with this small place we dock. A little progress.. Teddy Bears for the beds - Bar being installed. Signage installed and now being wired. Audio Video continues. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bollard speakers by coastal source are awesome looking and I hear that they sound great - It's so hard to do this project remote! - My wrap guy re-wrapped them in chrome to match the door trim close to where they are.. Coastal source is coming out with a new larger size in May/June that I'll add to this area as a second pair. My wife says they look like trash cans.. Bar - Wow there's a lot going on.. Wiring forthcoming, subs getting mounted inside and wired and insulated/secured... Polished stainless 2" bar rail on the way to be installed around the bottom.. Bar seats in transit for next week, bar top being made. wrap guy will wrap it next Friday. Teak guys coming tomorrow to put new teak down. Appliances getting installed next week. Etc etc.. Brown protective paper on top is concealing the clear plexiglass that will be the support form for the Blue Agate material that gets backlit. You can see the one support for the barstool on the right side.. there are 10 total bar stools that will be installed.
Can I ask where you’re going to keep this beast ? How does this work ? You leave from Naples or Miami, Florida to Caribbean ? Mediterranean? I’m curious .... MDS
"My wife says they look like trash cans" I say they look like deck ventilation ports... Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's in Delray Florida - We won't be there much but plan to meet it in the Bahamas fairly often to begin with.... The crew typically brings it wherever we decide to meet it - the journey there isn't always a fun one so it's best to let it get into position before getting on board. Just 2 weeks and counting for our next week there!
Horrible picture - but - signs are lit but green star isn't green... So working on a solution to allow light to backlight it and the green be the right material to allow light through. See the big can lights on the decks behind the sign? Those are being taken out this week and all the ceiling panels remade and about 200 pinhole LED lights being installed in the same color temperature as the sign. If anyone is wondering, we had to throw a floor mat over a dock light to see the sign better... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sea trial today on the new pursuit DC 365 tender. Wow we are in love with it.. what a perfect boat.. Perfect choice for us and for the job required. Powering up on plane, the bow never really raises up like I remember lots of these do.. it kind of all just raises up level and planes off... Very cool and nice riding. While I don't have any previous outboard experience, it doesn't appear to be a bad place to start off... http://www.pursuitboats.com/DC365.php Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Pursuit is fantastic. The weather is killing me. Dead flat calm for the next 4 days and my family is tied up so the boat is at the dock. Better plan to do what you're doing and meet the boat. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
New carpet is almost done in the boat.. almost 200' combined (x 13' wide) in the (3) 600 pound rolls that arrived, really hard to move around!! 1800#'s of carpet installed in 2 days. Wow. These 4 guys are working around the clock... Might be the end of tomorrow since the stairs and binding each stair tread is taking some time. Crestron integration and customizations with floor plan GUI's and controls are done... well, it's really never 'done'... but this is the audio and video portion of the project for each deck level.. Pictured are the touch screens that are mounted various places and on a tabletop mount on the Lido deck... I've had a special 'charter mode' created that I can configure max volumes for the system in each zone, helping insure protection of the system.... There's about 10,000 watts on the Lido deck alone.. Transom lights on.. We are re-working the green star to get backlight behind the green to bring it out. Pictures make it looked washed out but I've been told it's not that way in person. I wish I was there.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Flew down to the boat for a few days - wow there’s a lot going on and it will all be wrapped up in the next 4 days!
