Does anyone honestly think that the V6 Little Brother, which will effectively replace the F8, will be lower in price than the F8, which many suggest will be 3-5% more than 488? So makes perfect sense for Big Brother to be at a much higher level. It’s a new and different class ... when Iconas and the eventual LaF replacement sell in the millions ... why would they sell BB for much less than that? The people buying 458/488/F8 and the performance versions will naturally align financially with LB. if they sold BB fpr 900k USD base, does anyone here really think they won’t sell as many as they choose?

I don’t know where that line is, but yes, I believe it is possible to price the BB too high for regular production. $900k USD would price it out of my range - even though I would pay upwards of that for a TdF 812.

    Haha

Possibly not. Will buyers in that price range pay that much for a non-numbered, non-limited model?

FWIW I don’t think it will be priced that high but if it were it would not surprise me.

I am sure we are thinking too much as if this car is a 488 and the old model line up. It is not. It is a halo car and unrelated. Think more MCL Senna and where Ferrari missed out on that price segment offer. 488 replacement will be the V6T. Hybrid. Yet will still be another jump in price.
From what people write on here, in May the halo car should be shown, plus another special car in Nov. Ferrari cannot just wait for MCL and Aston to create new segments and miss out on the very world they dominated and created. It is going to get. very expensive though, that is now very clear.

I simply cannot see Ferrari gifting LaF performance for 600k , even as a non limited car, it will still be volume limited as they are launching so many other niche offers. That level of performance, will be over a million in the aftermarket overnight, more so if the looks and technology are a major change.

LOL that 430 was a great car! I wish I kept it. Then again, I wish I kept the 458. Should have just waited and I could have had both. Depending on how I like the BB when it debuts and its pricing, I wouldn't rule out keeping my 488 but finding a one owner 458 spider to add to collection! I really think that would be a great mini-collection! Don't get me wrong - the 488 is mind blowing. But with the torque and low limiter, it goes thru the gears so freaking fast! I miss winding the 458 up!!!

So for me it makes sense out of a value perspective, keeping the pista allocation, being happy with a 720 hp last hardcore V8 version as replacement V8 hybrid will be plus 200 K at least and V6 will not come up to 720 hp. Pista could stay in value at a higher level.

V6 will most certainly exceed the 720hp, I can't see Ferrari going backward in terms of power.

Six years after the Enzo the 458 came along and almost matched the performance. The LaF will be six years apart from the the BB so why not ?

Regular production Ferrari have consistently exceeded the performance of previous hypercars, and here we're not talking about the regular entry level sports car but a car filling up a new upper segment.
So yes, the BB should (and I guess, will) crush the LaFerrari in terms of performance.

Grand Tourer sounds more like 812 competitor rather than BB.

Senna or Speedtail? Seems like Speedtail will be more suitable for the street vs Senna for track. At 1035 combined HP for the Speedtail, some big shoes to fill.

Disagree on second point, will likely surpass LaFerrari performance.

LB V6 will likely exceed 720 HP.

Ferrari will have to compete with the Aston AMRB003 V6TT setup that looks like min-Valkyrie
