Yes even cause my 488 has a nice configuration (almost all options). I'd have to do the same on F8 and I'm not pretty sure right now.

I'd be of the same mind and am in same situation i.e car is highly optioned, looks sensational and drives very well. Swapping for an F8 or even Pista may not be the best way forward if BB is available in a year or so. In that situation better to hold, take the depreciation hit and just enjoy putting as many high quality miles as you can on the car. I mean whats another 50hp at this performance level. It's like paying another 100k to have a pocket in a singlet.

    Stop Press !

    1. Car manufacturer release new car.

    2. People on the internet are not visually sophisticated enough to digest its aesthetic and accept it as a homogeneous reality.

    3. People on the internet have to try to understand it as bits of pre-existing cars ( when in truth it actually looks nothing like any of them).

    4. 6 months fown the line people on the internet have been able to slowly digest and assimilate the new design language and now like the car.

    We’ve been here before haven’t we !

Loved the 720 and Senna design from day 1. No problem with the eye sockets whatsoever. This new F8 looks a real peach too. Balanced, aggressive, subtle, futuristic. The pictures don’t show the pinching and flaring of the rear three quarter panels/skirts too well either and this is a fairly important part of the design, distancing the profile from the relatively slab sided 488. Like all cars, has to really be seen three dimensional in the flesh with the light moving across it.

Yes it’s a facelift but a damm good one along with a Pista engine and host of other minor but meaningful improvements.

Really surprised that there is so much wining and negativity on what is a Ferrari forum. The lifecycle for 355/360/430/458 was always 5-6 years was it not ? The marketplace is hotter now though and Ferrari has worked hard to give us a stunning looking end of model evolution for years 5 and 6, whilst they are no doubt at breaking point chiefly developing all the new 100% fresh next gen cars.

If it’s not enough for you or not different enough from your 488 then fine, wait around a little and there will be plenty more on offer soon.

Put this together with their now being a profit-centered public company and their future plans make perfect sense, especially the "Purosangue FUV."

I think losing the relationship with Pininfarina and worse, letting marketing influence the design trends evident in the Tributo will be a mistake in the long run.

Full or fully, I don't think it changes their point. Mr Galliera clearly said "100% of the range will be hybrid" during the presentation.

What is "racing seat lifter" on the option sheet? I assume this is a way to adjust the LWB seats (I am a GT3 guy -- pardon the borrowed language) for track use? Today, we have to use aftermarket brackets to tile the LWB seats back on Porsche GT cars. A PITA in my opinion but you have to do it if you are wearing a helmet at the track.

    Thanks for the insights.

it is just a regular manual "Lifting arm" at the side of the seat so you can move it a bit up or down like in any other car. Without it, you can only move the seat forth and back. Has nothing to do with racing at all.

I like how the first option was the damn apple carplay on the option plate. Zoom in. You will see it.
