Looking at the next car to go in the new garage. You all may remember I had a silver and tan 328 as my first f-car. Great road trip picking it up with my son. Now, looking for a 328 in BLUE. If you are looking to part with yours to a good owner and home - please contact me. Robb [email protected] Image Unavailable, Please Login
Robb, I apologize, the car is black on black and it has been sitting for almost 9 years, this means it’s going to need more than a belt service.
Do you have an ideas on how many blue 328's are in the US? I'm thinking like maybe five total? If you find one and nab it, you need to report back. I doubt many of us have seen such a thing. -F
I know it is not a 328 but... https://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/listing/1979/ferrari/308--gts/1710633
Will try to find one of the 328’s. I’m not a fan of the US bumpered 308’ But thanks for the link. Robb
I purchased AJS328's azurro metallic 89 GTS for a client of mine almost a year ago. It has 75k miles but in great shape, unfortunately I don't think he wants to sell it though. Azzurro is a stunning color and they must be getting more popular --- I just happened to be in the Netherlands and stopped by Gallery Aaldering and saw this car - http://www.gallery-aaldering.com/collection/ferrari-328-gts-only-47-000-miles-rare-azzurro-blue-blue-scuro-full-history-ferrari-classiche-matching-numbers-en/ -- I knew I recognized it, turns out a friend of mine here in NC used to own it, then it went to Tampa florida area and the last time I saw it was being sold by Ferrari of Tampa Bay. Now it's crossed the pond and carries a significantly higher price!
Only five !!! You talking about GTB not all 328. Until today I don't heard about any Blu US GTB but of course I don't know all of them. Do you know one ? Several years ago I looking for Blu 328 here in Europe but I'm looking for only a GTB first serie with Beige interior ! I found one after 2 years and I bought it because I don't want waiting several years again. Since 2014 I saw only one or two others for sale…. And there are four diffetents Blu. Blu Sera and Blu Chiaro could be confused according to the brightness. Blu Medio is look like Gray in the darkness and Azzurro look like pale blue ( Bleu ciel in French ) So Roob which type and which Blu do you choise ? Because you will need have patience o/and have some $$$ to make an nice offer to a "no-seller" Below first day at home Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't forget #81609, which has been advertised for sale several times: http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/1416-Ferrari-328%20GTS-3.2%20Litre%20V8 Rgds
Agreed: - Blu Medio Met is probably the rarest of the four blues on a 328, and the color could not be confused with any other blue, as it is indeed very frankly blue-gray; - Azzuro is the lightest, and could not be confused with another blue either. - The last two blues, Blu Sera and Blu Chiaro, are easy to confuse due to light etc...only when two cars, one in each of these blues, are side by side, are they easy to differenciate. And yes, if we do consider the four different blues, and the GTSs, there are more than five cars in "Blu" in the US, but it is nevertheless not common. One F-Chatter (= SpyderGT) in the Seattle aera has a "Blu" 328 GTS with a rare "Nuvola" (light blu) interior. Good luck with your search, Robb... See for instance this thread: on post #13, you have two GTSs in blue, one in "sera", the other one in "chiaro" https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/blue-creme-86-328-fs-in-denver-not-mine.426145/page-1 Rgds
I’m open to a couple of models in adding multiple cars to the garage. Will still be looking for another 355. Whichever model I find in my preferred spec first will be added and then I’ll look for the others on my list. Always love the 328. My only issue is that I am 6’-1” so not a lot of extra room in the smaller cars. Robb
Nice thread on heights... https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/can-a-tall-person-fit-in-a-308-328.396834/
Including a couple of shots of my 328 in Blue Sera for reference. This one came with a 'crema' interior which seemed to be the standard interior/exterior color combo. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry Robb this one is not for sale. I should have clarified given the context of your original post. Sent from my SM-G960U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I was talking about US GTS. I just threw the number five out there, I really have no idea. If people post the photos of more than five blue US 328 GTS's, I would love it but also I would be surprised. SeattleM5 posted his, nerofer posted one at Fantasy Junction and one in Colorado back in 2013. Three more to go to make it one more than five. I have no record of a US 328 GTB in blue. -F Image Unavailable, Please Login
A couple of blue cars was posted in that Colorado thread, might be worth tracking down. This search will probably require some serial number sleuthing. -F
I have at least fifteen "blues" US GTSs confirmed, and my archives are nowhere as extensive or comprehensive as Brian's or Bertrand's. The very last US "blu" GTS seems to be #82959, a "Blu Sera / Beige" GTS that spent quite sometime waiting for a buyer on E-bay a few years back (but the asked price was high). Granted, even 25 of about 2500 GTS exported to the US makes only...1%... Rgds
Sorry, I don't look at that registry, I have my own. Well, then, bring it! Serial numbers, photos? Help a brother out! Because I don't think Robb is going to find what he is looking for without some help. Out of those fifteen cars, how many do we know the location of? Where were they last seen? -F
