yea...i do this also. Its kind of a hassle but a extra 5 seconds prior to automotive bliss of driving the 458 spider...
I have the same problem as OP on my 13 sypder. Sadly I've just accepted this and disconnect/reconnect each time. Pain in the ass for sure.
Anybody connect their Samsung Note 8 to the bovee in a ferrari 458? I am having the hardest time with it?
I purchased a 30 pin to lighting adapter and couldn't get my music to work. I bought the Bovee and it works but I have to turn on/off every time. If someone purchased a 30 pin to lighting adapter that worked without using the Bovee, please attach link to the item. Thanks!
I'll take a photo of my setup. I got the extended cable from mu friend who bought it at alibaba or some website. I will talk to him and try to find out more details
So this is basically my setup. 1. I have one long 30 pin to 30 pin cable: https://www.amazon.com/30-pin-Male-Female-Extender-iPhone/dp/B004BAC2B0 This one I connected to the 30 pin cable in the glow box which you otherwise connect with your ipod or bowee. 2. Make sure to run the cable along the gaps around the glowbox so you can easily close the glowbox. 3. I then bought a 30 pin to lightning cable like this one and connected it to the extended cable coming from the glow box: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Apple-Lightning-to-30-pin-Adapter-Cable-for-iPhone-XS-MAX-XR-X-8-Plus-7/173836194976?hash=item287971d4a0:g:ewgAAOSw-phceyYH 4. I connect the lightning cable to my Iphone X and it charges and I am able to play music via Spotify. Most often the track name etc is shown on the right display, sometimes it does not show up. I can even forward to the next track on the button the steering wheel but can't go back with the back button the steering wheel though. As a note: I did not know that apple stopped making the 30 pin to lightning cable so be fast and grab them on e-bay as the above one is the original deal (copies might not work with audio signal and will just charge your phone).
I have the same problem. I just swipe up (or down for newer iphones) and turn the Bluetooth off and on, and it reconnects.
Same here. It's annoying to turn the Bluetooth off, and on each time. So far, I don't think there's a fix.
i have bought 3 recently and none of them power on. Exchanging them so see if i can get one that actually works
As mentioned in another Bovee thread, one of the F chat guys recommended to turn off the cars Bluetooth. The Bovee will then connect every time. I tired this and it worked for me. Presuming of course you get a functioning Bovee. Seems the car’s BT causes the Bovee to break the BT connection. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
Nah mine wont even turn on - plugged into a wall outlet and no blue light Image Unavailable, Please Login
I got this one back in the winter. It syncs everytime and shows the playlist on the left screen so far it’s been perfect. Image Unavailable, Please Login
