Yes, beautiful blue with red accents. Talked to the owner with his two young kids. Good group today. Another a couple down was a silver Prelude SH. Very nice.

Beautiful day and I was able to break away for an errand and a drive.

First stop was picking up a couple of my wife’s rings resized by @Adamas. Beautiful work. Glad we’re local to his shop. If you need a special something for yourself, or your other, send him a note. His manager Andrew is top notch.

Then we grabbed some lunch and hit the road.

Welp haven’t driven the car for a while but did let it run a few times this winter. Went to take the car for a drive tonight and battery is dead. Also, after opening the passenger side door wouldn’t shut flush. I’ll be calling Acura Monday to send a tech to my house. Pain in the butt however I’ll let everyone know how it goes and what the fix is. I’m going to request a new battery as I feel like once it goes it’s never the same.

Tried to get a hold of Acura roadside assistance to come jump the car. No avail today. Wasted my time. Pretty frustrating.

Perhaps a Li jumper would be handy?

My battery died twice. The first time was after it was at the shop for a week for a windshield replacement. Car probably got started on left on acc mode a bunch of times. I figure it was not adequately charged when I got home, it sat for a week and was dead. The second time I was not sure why it had no juice. Since then I have been sure to have the car in Sport+ mode for about the final 20 minutes of a drive and have had no further issues.

Have you had any issues since then regarding the battery? Also did you jump it yourself?

I had the local garage guy come from Acura Roadside both times.

Then I purchased the Li battery jumper and have never used it.

I picked up a Li jumper last year and packed it during our trip out west. Never needed it but I was ready.

Did a drive yesterday... good time.

Great thread. Love the NSX! Drove one when they first came out at Pohanka Acura. They pushed hard for the sale, but I had just picked up an SL63 AMG. Will be moving to the NSX pretty soon though

I mixed some 112 octane in today with my fill up. Blended to 100 octane. I’ve read the cars ECU is sophisticated enough to recognize the higher octane. It did feel more punchy to me but that can be a placebo. I need the weather to warm up slightly and get the dragee out to find out for sure. Road is too cold to get good traction

    Early NSX goes racing.

This car finished a third in the 1993 James Hardie 12 Hour at Bathurst, but is perhaps remembered more for Wayne Gardner’s fearful practice crash and its marathon rebuild by the TAFE Smash Repair Team.

Love the use of the standard forged alloy wheels.
