Hi! I just picked up a set of 458 CF Seats, and I read that they were bolt into the 360, with just new hardware, and using some different holes on the rails. My 458 seats have Power Connectors, I assume that's for the seat-back, as those are electric recline-able? Do I just simply give "power" to that connector, and then it's all done? Thanks in advance!
Post pics. My 458 cf race seats were not power. The connectors were for the seat belt receptacles and you may have an extra one for an occupancy sensor in the passenger seat. When I installed them in my 360, I swapped the seat belt receptacles from my factory seats so the would plug right in with no issues. They also bolt right up but it is to the second set of holes in the floor that require different hardware from the stock seats. The hardware was easily sourced at the local hardware store. Enjoy in good health. These seat make an enormous difference in headroom and the overall driving experience in the 360/430! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Pic is attached. Seems they must've had power tilting available on some seats? And manual on others? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
These are the CF Sport Seats for sure. Have a friend with an F12, with the same seats, and his have that power button too, but these came right out of a 458 Italia. Maybe it was some sort of option? Anyways, will be installing them today anyways, I reckon it's just a matter of putting power to the connector(s), and it should be fine for the seat backs.
Why for sure? Like Craig, they don’t look like my sport seats either. Those look like regular seats with CF trim like a driving zone option. The sport seats are manual and very light. Either way, they are comfortable so enjoy. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Image Unavailable, Please Login My friend has CF sport seats with the same switch on the side for power tilt. It’s manual to move front to back, but power for the tilt. The Pista CF sport seats I installed in my 430, however, is full manual. To the OP, hope your install goes smoothly!
Yep, we figured it out. Just needed to give power to the motor, and the switch will work as it should. Being installed now, have to fiddle with some holes, but, not a big deal.
Great! The install is pretty easy. Just use hardened fasteners, not the typical hardware store stuff. These take a LOT of load in an accident and you want the seat to stay planted along with your safety belt.
