458 vs McLaren MP4-12C--- Your thoughts?

Love the looks and performance of McLaren ,but was very surprised on repair costs & the lack of detail sharing as just securing minor paint codes, parts # with repair shops that are not McLaren Dealers. Must worse than Ferrari was decades & decades ago. Great car, but poor support! Get's old real fast.

 

I had 12c which was disappointment. I recently purchased 600LT. This car doesn’t put smile on my face. Lack of characteristic and build quality is really put me down.

McLaren has some interesting products that generate big performance numbers but they seem even more combustible than the Ferrari cars and not nearly as reliable either. Also good luck if a problem develops. Going higher than the local dealership seems to generate a huge amount of apathy from the manufacturer!!!!!!!!!! Poor support as noted above in post #1701.
One McLaren 720s owner had 26 days of use in 7 months of ownership.
