The owner got the Ferrari design that he specified in great detail. That work was all done with the endless support of Ferrari plus other contributors. While the owner paid a premium price the result for him is priceless.

The car has a 4 digit even number vin. I do not know the number. Fully 488 GT3 underneath. Unrestricted GT3 engine.

Very cool project. I would have done some things differently - all of us would - but this is much more tasteful than some other one-off cars I've seen.

Love the front fenders with no lights.

According to the internet, it's €555k (base price, VAT not included). Owner talks about a "prototype 02" on Instagram, so I guess another one (#01) was built before it.

Always like the mechanicals. But this design team has failed miserably with a race car base and unlimited budget. I don't get it.

"To the Maranello army that helped me assemble the prototipo initiative, I offer you my utmost gratitude. We have gone far beyond what was possible under the skin - it is just the beginning" - Mr T.K.

"It's just the beginning" sounds exciting and I think that's what he meant when he wrote "me & Ferrari. Chapter one".

I see a strong styling correlation to the 288GTO, which I love. And I love this. Bravo.

looks much more like a new ford gt than it does 288gto. esp the rear buttress treatment.

This is a concept from a Pininfarina designer in 2004. The rear of this car shows the flying C pillar buttresses and the deep air channels. It appears Ford was heavily influenced by this concept.

Not designed by Ferrari. It was Adriano Raeli's thesis project at the Art Center College of Design in April 2014 according to his website. States he used multi-role aircraft as inspiration.

    The 599 has them. ~shrug~

Just because Ford used them doesn't mean they are out of bounds for any other manufacturer.

What is the S/N for the P80/C?

I personally think this SP is so well done in so many ways. Well done everybody who made this dream a reality.
