Im with you. Its not really the saving $ the flat black just looks perfect ( I hate carbon ) Did you want or have to go with carbon inside ?
To me it looks cheap. If you like carbon all the parts need to be carbon. Or IMO prefer all flat black ( and this is how I would spec my F8 ) LIKE FERR9000
Could you post some interior pictures because I like your style. Looks like no carbon in the engine bay also ?
The first one is taken from the “Ferrari 488 Pista” page on Facebook. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
My wallet wishes that I hated carbon fiber. Been an addict since at least 1997 with my 993TT. Lately, I’ve gravitated to all matte CF for interiors but I’m afraid to spec it for durability reasons on the exterior. Plus, I’d wrap it anyway so I might lose the effect even with matte PPF? In the past, there was a US carbon package for special models and a carbon racing package for regular models. Is there such a thing for the Pista or is it completely a la carte in the US?
about 10-14 days in my experience to get to the boat 50 - Assembly line (engine/transmission) 60 - Finishing 70 - Testing (road/track) 85 - Storage 90 - Water (intransit)
Thanks and congrats on your build. Looks like we picked the same spec. Would love to see some pics when you take delivery.
This is the same car that was wrapped in Monaco....is this Fuoco or Fiorano? always confused Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’ve seen several Pista without the additional exterior carbon parts (even without the engine bay) and it’s giving the impression of a quite old and cheap model. While the matte black, which also scratches very easily, might look good on pictures for the racing touch of the car, it‘s very cheap looking in real life. I always expected this to be a tactical marketing thing in order to have people order a lot of CF parts on the cars. There’s an quite cheap Atelier option which has already been available to several models including the Portofino, 488, 812 etc to have all ‚plastic‘ exterior parts painted in gloss black. Might be the better option. Standard carbon parts mixed up with the matte black won’t give the car the exclusivity it actually deserves - at least for regions where where PPAC is a must have option on the car.

Does anyone know if Bianco Avus is an option for the Pista? or do we have do a metallic white like B Fuji or B Italia for white pista? I found this on instagram from Lake Forest cars Image Unavailable, Please Login
My favourite Ferrari colour in the standard palate. My incoming LussoT is TDF blue, I plan to make my Portofino TDF blue, but the Pista I did a little different but I know deep down it should have been blue
Fuoco has that brown hue in it where this has more of a richer red in it so I suspect it's not Fuoco.
