    A friend is looking is to jump into 458 ownership but has a ground clearance issue with his garage. Was the lift system standard or an option on them?

    Would you say its fairly common? Definitely going to be necessary for him. On cars for sale that have the original sticker shown, I see it listed on a lot of then however on sale posts that don't show the sticker, I have yet to see anyone list their car as having the lift.

    I have the lift on my 2014 458 Spider and it gives me an extra 1.5” to 2” of clearance, great that you can activate the lift at 25mph or less, makes the difference between scraping on not entering my driveway

    I would guess half of the cars had the lift. Easiest way to tell is to look for the button in the center console tunnel. If you see 2 buttons, it has the lift. One button means it doesn’t.
