    I am looking at a Capristo standard exhaust remote control kit to open my exhaust values manually for the cool noise factor. Has anyone tried on of these kits? This looks like it's just a plug and play simple thing but if it messes up my on board epu I don't want to mess with it. There are no reviews on the Capristo website. Does anyone have a review? Capristo part number 04AZ007 $695

    My local Ferrari dealer used to install them, and then quit. They had a few failures. If you compare it with this product, you can see why:http://forzacomponenti.com/ The Capristo product is not well sealed from moisture and dirt, allowing the connectors to get intermittent. The Forza Componenti product is not water tight, but much better built and connectors better sealed. And best of all, less expensive, and offers more modes of operation. I've had mine for four years, and it works perfectly. I just had the battery finally go out in the remote, but simple swap and I was back in business!

    I would agree Steve's product is a better way to go, I had one on two of my cars. I just had a Capristo installed it my car, but this time I am not using a remote.
