This is the first time I am posting in this model specific section. I am a proud second owner of a 348 Spider with 14K miles. It has been sitting for 4 years and I am finally getting the car organized to drive. Thought I would share a few pics as we go through the process. We are planning on fully servicing and refreshing the engine, engine bay, front end, new carpet and some new leather, all in all just bringing the car back to how it looked when it was first delivered.

I am excited to have the car complete as I just have fallen in love with Ferrari's from the 80's and 90's, the driving pleasure is so much more engaging than the most current modern Ferrari's, god bless analog. Oh and more of a romantic Italian statement, just less manufactured and more hand built.

I have yet to drive the car as it was in storage but I am super excited to do so, after watching a bunch of reviews I feel like it will be a total go cart.

    Thanks for letting me share...

What did you use that looks great. It looks like exhaust wrap almost. Do those panels come like that or some material you covered with fabric hi temp wrap?

Eric according to Steve from Exclusive Motor Cars of Arizona who is doing the work on the 348 the material is actually Ferrari insulation. He does an annual buying trip to in Italy and picks up a bunch of different materials to use on his clients cars. This is a value add to the services he provides. His shop is fantastic as is his work, website below:

So this will be the best $150.00 I will spend, an Alpine head unit that is completely Bluetooth enabled, phone, Pandora, steaming music, Waze, I love technology. This makes a 1995 car comparable to a 2019, what a bargain.
