Yes he will, if he's able to be within .5 sec of Perez in qualifying i will be very surprised!!...but i guess it will be closer to 1sec...

I no longer consider Perez part of the hispanic community. C'mon Checo, it was one race. Better than Ocon or Hulk?? Seriously. Quit kissing it. I would've waited till the end of the season to come up with a statement like this.
It's funny how all the Stroll haters have nothing so say about his race performance in Australia. Faster than his teammate in every session except qualifying, clean start without any damage, drove a good race scoring points, defended well under attack and was under pressure from behind for most of the race. To me it looked like a very solid and mature performance and far from the rubbish of calling him a crap pay driver. I'll still reserve judgement but for now he looks like a solid mid-field runner. Time will tell where he'll go from here but the fundamentals seem sound.

Funny how the moment his dad buys a team for him he suddenly starts improving? Massa was a second a lap faster than him pretty much everywhere. Sirotkin, a bought for teammate who hasn't made a significant impression anywhere he raced, matched him and beat him where he shouldn't. The moment daddy buys a team and stroll improves? I don't buy it.
On that Netflix series, all his words and interviews kinda shows arrogance. If i were him, I would shut my mouth, fly under the radar, and just do my best.
Funny how you guys claimed how he ruined Williams last year and that Kubica would be 3 minutes a lap faster. Now Kubica is evidently not quite shining compared to Russell and the Williams is even further back. And the Checko, who is a sufficiently known in all his years is not exactly making Stroll look totally useless.
What does Williams current lack of everything have to do with Kubica? Kubica was not in the car the last 2 years so how exactly is he responsible for it's lack of speed? I'm judging Stroll against his teammates only. I can not judge a guy who drives in the slowest car and say ''HA! he's only 18th he must be a sucky driver''. Clearly talent can be spotted, even when someone drives a slow car. Stroll didn't make it past the 2nd corner today before clattering into someone. Why is anyone defending this guy? He's proved year on year he's not got the talent to drive in F1. You can bet the house that Papa Stroll is doing everything in his power his son gets the best of everything. Checko is on the backfoot here.
Stroll reinforcing his claim to be the worst driver on the grid. He is soooo utterly useless. It’s frightening how bad he is.
