Sorry, but you are wrong: Fangio drove the Maserati 300S, chassis 3067 in Cuba in February 1957. Chassis #3071 was used only once by the factory in Sebring in March1957 with Moss who came home 2nd behind Fangio`s 450S!

I used to own an original 1966 Ford GT40 Scuderia Filipinetti team car. In searching the Internet for information about Georges Filipinetti I stumbled across this video (link below) of "L'écurie du château" ("The Stable of the Castle," according to Google translate). I didn't find the video already posted on FChat but apologize if it has been and I missed it.

In addition to the Ferraris (and a Shelby GT350) chugging around Filipinetti's Chateau Grandson courtyard, the video shows (beginning at 3:55) two wrecks. Is the one furthest from the camera 206 S #026 that burned at 1967 Nurburgring and the other P2 #0824 that crashed at 1965 Monza? Can someone ID all of the cars in the video?

(The video sometimes loads with the sound turned off. Click on the small speaker icon at the bottom of the video frame to turn the sound on.)

    Don,

How many of Filipinetti's cars ended up crashed and burned? It seems to be a recurring theme with them.

Indeed! I don't know very much about Filipinetti's Ferraris or other race cars (including a Cobra Daytona Coupe, Porsches, F1 cars), but the two 1966 Ford GT40 team cars certainly had hard lives. #P1039 crashed at 1966 Le Mans Trials (first photo), and #P1040, the car I used to own, crashed while running 5th at 1966 Le Mans and then burned at 1967 Monza (second and third photos).

You don't see Mexicos in classic car events, let alone on the byways; what great photos.

Who knows more about these pictures dated 1952 and taken in Modena aerautodromo .
One car is 0072E 166 Export Vignale Spyder, with the special body made by Campana in '51, owner Alberico Cacciari.
    The Vignale coupé is....?? 0070M ?? 0178ED ??
Why these cars were there ?

The photo caption just says : Modena Tests 1952 - Bracco Cacciari

    Ciao
