That is a really smart move Matthias. My 3 years old Ansa exhaust has already lost most of its paint on the piping that gets relatively hot. The headers that I got aluminum coated and VHT painted is still looking like new. Ansa corrosion quality is very bad on their mild steel exhaust products. Best Peter
Looks very nice. I will post a few photos of my model when I get home tomorrow. It is 1/12th scale. My round roof decal is to big but it otherwise looks a lot like the car. I will not print decals for this car after all. I did a special print for this model in 1/24th and 1/12th scale, but only printed a few of each. Not Cartograf quality but they work.
Not perfect but good enough. The color is slightly off and the round decal on the roof is to large. Also I need to add 2 side marker lights on the number. Image Unavailable, Please Login
By the way it is a modified 1/12th KK Dino with early bumpers. An end of the road diorama showing it after it broke on the Nürburgring while running the 84 hour event.

This is one of my favorite threads on f-chat. The car ended up in the right hands. You've done a fantastic job with it. Congratulations!
Hi Matthias, Congratulations!!! looks absolutely perfect.... Thanks for bringing this car back to original colours and fame... best wishes, BjörnS

first long run of 250 Km today at very warm temperature (28° degrees) here in Germany. All fine. Car feels like brand new from the factory, I´m so pleased with the restoration job. So all should be fine for the presentation at the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix / Nürburgring from the 9th until 11th of August 2019. Cant wait to drive "Nordschleife". If you want to join us, I have five weekend tickets of FCD Dino section left (entry fees all three days, catering, barbeque at the track on Saturday, 1 hour drive "Nordschleife" exclusive with 25 other Ferrari Dinos) Costs are € 410,- (with co-driver € 650,-) but you have to come with your Dino, mandatory! Looks very very good , and you even removed the Dino caps on your wheels. I could not on my 1/12th model as I thought it looked so nice with them.
Be careful Matthias. This Porsche was intercepted last week in France. I love it. Let's hope the cops are less stupid in Germany. By the way, beautiful restoration ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
This weekend Matthias showed his freshly restored Dino 246 GT S/N 01266 GT at the Oldtimer Grand Prix, Nürburgring. So this car with his special Nürburgring racing history returned to his former glory. The circle closes... It was a very exciting moment to see the car at the Nürburgring, leading all the modern Ferraris for the FCD race. Thanks Matthias to give us the opportunity to joyn this special moment with you. best wishes, BjörnS Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
