Yes if i remember correctly i bought one around 2008 and kept it a cple years. It was downright amzing in the snow but it felt flimsy when closing doors etc. didnt feel great about having my 2 yr old and new born in the back seat so i never really used it with the kids. Interesting. I haven driven those however I wanted an Audi Q5 until I drove the current platform Jeep GC. It felt as or more tight. In retrospect it makes sense as it’s the same as the Mercedes W166 platform. The only issue with the current jeep is the clunky transmission.
So, I currently have an F12. I've had a California, FF and 458. I recently purchased a Urus and I very much disagree with the OP. It's a fantastic car that has no comparison. Yesterday, it was pouring rain here in the DC area, yet I was out driving around in my Lamborghini. Would never think to bring out the F12 nor any other exotic I've previously owned - Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc. The sound is amazing in Corsa mode. The car drives very smooth and stable in Strata mode. Interior is exceptional and the technology has no comparison. The only thing I'm critical of is the optioned sound system. For $6,000+ it should be fantastic - it's well below what is offered as an option by Mercedes and others. If you are curious about the car, I suggest you take the time to test drive one - particularly in Corsa mode. There's nothing like it.
Congrats .... what about shifting gears ? I test drove the URUS and I fully agree with all what u wrote, but I noticed a delay during shifting gears !! Did u noticed that ? I liked the car from all other aspects Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No delay. There are times, depending upon how hard you are pushing it when the shifts in Corsa are very abrupt. Sometimes jolting you back in the seat but that's not out of the norm for a modern Lambo. Other than that, normal shifting is spot on.

Yeah no delay in shifting and pretty hardcore shifts in Corsa. I actually just traded mine for a 19 GT3 manual and may regret it. I'll see how it goes.
I said no to an offer for this allocation three times, then started hearing respected car guys were loving it. I test drove it and I understood immediately. I got it. I really like it a lot! Akrapovic exhaust installed from day one. I took the car to the A’s and Warriors doubleheader and afterwards, the security guys said “Do you know how many people took pictures of your car?!” Yellow, of course.
The Grand Cherokee SRT is a vehicle everyone should consider for an SUV. I paid about $70k US for ours and we have just over 60k miles on it now. 470hp V8 that rips pretty well, nice interior (not range rover level but nice) and it's been reliable, can tow etc. We are looking at replacements now and there really isn't that much of interest out there that's better. Possibly an SVR. We may replace it with a pickup for trailer towing duties and just get the wife a Portofino or somehting.
This is one sector where we get more choice in the UK. My daily is an Audi S6 Avant, which I think you don't get in the US (in Avant form). You don't get the RS6 either. What exactly do you have against Estate cars (wagons)? They have pretty much the same capacity as an SUV and just drive more like a car. What's not to like? Consensus is suggesting the new Q8 once it gets some decent engines will be a better proposition than an Urus, unless you absolutely have to have the Lambo Badge. The Urus's engine (design) is also used in the Audi S6, S7, S8, RS6, RS7 (it's first use) Panamera, Cayenne, Bentley Conti GT V8, Bentayga V8. It's a really decent unit. I just can't arrive at the price point at which the URUS sells. I've owned two Range Rovers & Mercedes ML but I'm just happier in an Estate car, but I guess your choices in the US are somewhat limited. You guys get the AMG E63s wagon don't you? I'd take that over an Urus by a mile.
I really like estate cars, I saw something recent that Audi was considering the rs6 for the US. Issue I have seen with the new Merc is the misfire issue on the new 4.0. Don’t know if they’ve been able to resolve it yet or not.
I still question the decision by Ferrari to create models in the station wagon and now SUV space. There is enough demand to sell twice as many mid-rear V8s and front mounted V12 two seaters. Instead of wasting resources on the Lusso and upcoming SUV, spend the resources to make the models that are in demand stay in demand with better aesthetics, reliability, and performance. Yes the world is buying SUV trucks and crossovers far more than sedans. But Ferrari caters to a very tiny niche market of 8,000 compared to the world auto market of 80 million.
Ferrari is a small nich car manufacture who sold 1200 Lusso in Europe alone, some waste of resources!
