I don't think your seats look that bad.

Yes just from the picture the seats look quite good. If the leather feels dry and they are otherwise fine, try a leather treatment like Leatherique - seats way rougher than yours have come back from the dead with a good treatment and maybe a re-dye.

Seats look fine in the pictures I have seen most retrims only look worse. I would prefer original over a re-trim those seats would look a lot better after some Leatherique.

100% Finding someone that has the attention to detail to do a retrim and so it properly is far from easy.

Wow, thanks everybody. I thought the hides were done given the amount of shrinkage. It great news that it might be possible to bring them back. I'll try leatherique next.

This one. Be advised that some color "may" come off due to age when using cleaners. Avoid cleaners or I would aside form gentlest of cleaners.

btw this stuff to clean leather essentially removed all the color from my door panels and anywhere else it got on. Seats too. I need to redye my door panels.

Doesn't the Connelly company have their own cleaners and conditioners to use? How come no one talks about them?

I use Griots Garage. They have a leather rejuvenator that im itching to try.

Also I think your leather looks fine for the age. Great spec!

    Nick is great.

If you want to change colors, sure, re-leather everything. Blue is pretty hard to match. If Nick has the exact factory color which is likely, the color will be off a bit because your car has been in the sun (UV) for thousands of hours over the last 20+ years. 100% I'd go with leatherique. Take the seats out, clean them properly, and then leatherique them once or twice. Don't skip any steps (put them in bags, etc.)

cleaning should be with a steamer or take them to a professional. Don't use chemicals especially for a blue color.

It would seem from the picture that the blue seat bottom on the drivers side has had enough wear that the blue dye is uneven. A really good upholtserer can fix that.

You have some shrinkage on the seat bottom cushions, but not at all bad. I would simply do the Leatherique treatment and repeat once a year. That is what I did with my 355. Your interior really looks very good as is.

Wow. That's a stunning interior in my opinion. I can't tell from the photos - what color is the car exterior? I would jump at the chance of owning a 355 with a blue interior. That's the first one I've ever seen.

Thanks everyone. This is really good news and will hopefully free up some cash for a 360 steering wheel and airbag if I can ever find one :)

I too am really happy with the blue and black color combo. Not too much blue with the dash and door panel tops in black. The exterior color of the car is Argento silver.

Thank for the color info and exterior pic. Does the interior leather color have a name? This is what sets a 355 apart from all the others in my opinion.

I'm not sure though I'd love to know what it is. I've only seen one other 355 with a blue interior and it was a different shade.

I’ve used Connolly's leather cleaner and was pleased. It’s very gentle on the leather and cleaned the surface nicely.

In my research I was told that the old factory foam will compress a bit over time and simply replacing the leather with factory original leather kit may result in loose fitting leather. Im sending mine out to pros that do this on a regular basis. Probably Bradan in NY.

I wouldn't mess much with that interior other than using some Connolly Conditioner.

Oh yeah they would need to glue some new foam on to the seats bottoms and shape them back to size.
