    I have a pair of focal 6.5" speakers that I'm trying to install in my 430. Problem is that they don't seem to fit in the door without trimming. The back of the speaker is just too wide, unless I'm missing something.

    Have others been able to accomplish that? If so, how? Would love to hear tips for how to get that done without making any permanent changes to the car.

    Make a round spacer about 1/4" or more thick, thid will move the speaker out a little more and it should fit, your adding a little more depth.

    Scuderia Audio should have some spacers?

    I got my Focals from him, and he had a spacer and everything.

    Thanks for the reply. Just to clarify - does that mean you have a 430, bought 6.5” Focal speakers, and were able to install them without having to trim the door by using a spacer?
