It's not dark enough for grigio silverstone plus the paint on the F8 has a hint of gold in it.

This is GS here in broad daylight....no gold....and, out of the light it is very dark as you can see in the shade across the hood.

Agree looks more like Titanio than darker Silverstone but photo looks processed so difficult to tell.

So OK for water to get into engine bay when washing? My Huracan's transparent engine bonnet has open slats but they are beveled and on the sides and not in the middle.

Already happens on the 488. There are vents on each side of the glass. Won’t hurt.

These rims on the show cars are the only available forged ones so far - standard wheels are the 488 standard wheels. My guess is that other options may be introduced even before the first deliveries.

The F40 has large, open slats on the engine cover and so does the Aventador. The engine does get a bit wet, but that 's not really an issue.

Check out the current issue of TOFM, issue 42

The main article is devoted to
The F8 tributo. As usual, there are some great photographs of the Tributo.

(In this issue there is an article about my 458 on page 20.)

I don't like the black flares on the side bottom of the front spoiler. They stick out and ruin the lines of the front end. The blue shape looks great and the black sticking out looks awful. I don't care if it makes the car 0.001 ms faster or more downforce at 200 mph. The nose looks ok but they have gone with a more technical look. The car is just an evolution of the 488 and not really new IMHO. Some nice refinements but they are coming out with way too many versions of the same car and it's getting old. Time for a big design change to this 8 cyl line. The 458 is still the best looking in this line. Of course Pininfarina designed.

I agree wholeheartedly ! It’s all getting a bit Apple like boring ! I moved my deposit from the F8 Spyder to 812 Spyder because I need a breath of Ferrari freshness !

It will be more or less similar to the 488
