No problem, though 177643 is NOT one of the above listed known GTO's in 4153GT livery. It was once wrongly connected to a respective car from Cologne in a certain forum known to you, but is in fact a silver/cuoio GTO with a yellow racing stripe, yellow mirrors and red calipers originally registered in Starnberg...

Here is what I've been able to sort out based on plate numbers and specs of cars...

    France -

1 - Plate - edited out - yellow calipers, Black wheels, roll bar, black carbon side skirts, front parking sensors

    Germany -

    1 - Plate - K ** 599 - black calipers, gray wheels
    2 - Plate - M ** 87 - yellow calipers, gray wheels, carbon shields - same car later under plate M ** 49?? - later the Novitec car?

    Swiss -

    1 - Plate - GE ** 599 - yellow calipers, gray wheels, roll bar
2 - Plate - GE 67***111 - yellow calipers, black wheels, front parking sensors, carbon side skirts
3 - Plate - GE **673 - yellow calipers, black wheels, front sensors, no roundels, US DOT lights

    UK- RHD

    1 - Plate - 2 **D - yellow calipers, black wheels, carbon side skirts
2 - Plate - RX *** YY - yellow calipers, gray wheels, front parking sensors
    3 - Plate - RX ****M - Identical specs as #1 - so same car?

    Same car.

These are the two known original german cars - one initially registered on Cologne plates, the other one has been seen on serveral Munich plates ever since and was also in the hands of Novitec.

1&3 are indeed the same car. The other one listed completes the known original UK cars.

I also keep records of all 599 in EMEA markets (only) and I got 4 different plates for that Novitec German car but apart from the Cologne plate car, I got a non Novitec Munich registered car (an other one, or before transformation ??)

If you are refering to "GE 20599" (CH), then the car is not in genuine 4153GT livery given its grey main colour... ;)

The only pictures I know of the car were taken in the showroom of H.R. Owen in London years back...I'm not aware of any photos of it in the "wild" though.

Whom do you tell...lighting (kind of/sources) can cause some serious headache sometimes...
However, the car in question seems to be Grigio Ferro and has quite a chance in being the first 599 GTO coming in Historic Racing Livery (yellow horizontal stripe + white roundels). It furthermore is not on its Geneva license plate anymore!

Yes, it is...though as that photo dates back to autumn 2013, I guess, that it is not on the very plate anymore.

Here is what I think is one of the most epic pictures of a pair of Ferraris ever taken. Now here is the story...

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

The photo was taken in 2012 by Nicolas Lanciau at the Le Mans Classic. I though for sure this was a picture set up by Ferrari to immortalize the 250 GTO along side the new 599 GTO but the truth is far more interesting.... Here is what he told me -

For the little story, I took this photo during the Le Mans Classic car event in July 2012. It’s an event that happens once every two years at the Mans, in France. At this particular one, the 50 Years of the Ferrari 250 GTO Rally made a stop in the paddocks of the track. Since there were a total of 18 250 GTO’s, this was an opportunity not to be missed! Truly incredible.

Concerning this photo, I was on a footbridge, I was the only one there, with the aim of taking photos from a higher angle. This 250 GTO #4153GT arrived and the owner of the 599 stopped next to him to exchange a few words, it lasted for less than a minute, I was at the right place, at the right moment ! It’s a very very good memory.

Not my GTO. That is the German Novitec GTO back in 2012. Just an amazing picture!
