I'm sure I would be the only person on the planet thinks his Novitec suspension sets a little too low . I would like to raise it or possibly go back to the stock setup . Before I do that though I'd like to know if I'm able to raise it on the strut collar adjuster or if that's totally out. I don't want to go up much -- maybe 3/4 in . I don't want to go back to the stock setup if I can do it on the car . I bought the car with the lowering kit on it and I'm tired of scraping .

    Thoughts??

I have the Novitec system on my 488. On my application, which I am confident is similar to yours, there are two collars supporting the spring perch that thread up and down the shock body. If you loosen the lower collar and spin in out of the way, (it is used as a lock) then you can adjust the remaining collar to change ride height infinitely. Very easy to do, but an alignment will likely be adviseable when you are done. The Novitec spring is not as tall as the factory spring, so I don't know what will happen if you go back to factory ride height.

Make sure you mark the collar and body with a sharpie pen, and count the revolutions carefully so that you are uniform on all four corners. You will likely need a spanner which should have been supplied with the springs. A KW spanner will also work.

FWIW, three full rotations of the collar will result in about a 1/4" change. Hope I remembered that right.

Thanks for the info . I don't necessarily have to go back to stock , I just want to raise it a bit . I don't have the spanner wrench from Novitec but that's no problem and I have access to the alignment rack at work.

If I was jacking the spring collars around, I would want to put the car on a set of scales while doing it.
