Bradan Testarossa major service

Thanks, Dan! For anyone following along, this is my TR that was purchased in June without a major. The last major had only 2k miles when I bought the car but about five years. This year would have been the 7th year so I decided to send it in to Dan at Bradan. He's been fantastic in communication and picked the car up promptly, had it inspected and engine out faster than I could have ever imagined.

 

do you send the oil cooler hoses out for repair or just get new ones if avaible?

 

every hydraulic shop will make you those, with the original fittings or also with new ones, what ever you want.

 

Not that any advice may be needed, but if you are in there, change the petrified fuel tank vent hoses on the firewall. The originals will crumble in your fingers. Scary.

what were condition of belts and pullys

 

Dan will post some more pictures later, but check out the condition of the water pump seal!!!

I’ll go through my records to see if the seal was replaced at the last major like it should have been. Amazing.

Just confirmed, the water pump seal was replaced at the last major in 2012 and about 2500miles ago.

 

How did the timing belt and tennsioners look
