    It's tough. They are the same for me basically. The difference will be nostalgia I think. Off the top of my head I would put In-N-Out infront by a hair.

    I've never had In and Out, so I was curious because that seems to be the debate.

    By coincidence, we got a coupon for a free In & Out burger in the mail yesterday. Which is doubly odd, as we've never eaten there. Just once in Plano years back when it was the new thing in DFW. It was an OK burger. Fries looked meh, so we got a shake. I think Whataburger is better, but since I shared the burger with my wife (yes, we're that old! ), no jalapeños. Wendy's Frosty is better IMO than I&O shake...T

    If you want the “why” answer at inn and out, you have to order a double double animal style.

    Went to Andreoli Italian Grocer again today. Another fantastic meal;

    - Gnocchi with tomato and basil
    - Grilled Calamari
    - Sandwich with olive tapenade, Genoa salami and pecorino.

    OK! I knew there was something the aficionados recommended, but couldn't recall the name when the wife texted me!

    Edit - Upon further review, no dice!

    Per Serious Eats..."Order the burger "Animal Style" off of their not-so-secret menu, and you bring the party to a whole new level. The onion slice gets replaced with a dollop of a sweet, darkly caramelized chopped onions, an extra stack of pickle chips goes underneath the tomato, and the patties get fried with mustard directly on the griddle."

    The missus squawked about the pickles, I cried foul at mustard!

    I'll do some research to see if there's a spicy I&O burger option

    Come on now...you won’t taste the mustard most likely. There isn’t any on the burger...they supposedly squirt some on the griddle when cooking the patties, but it’s lost for the most part.

    It’s worth the $3 to taste and find out. They will take the pickles off of the missus’ burger...

    Taking my Mercedes in for work. Next door to the mechanic is a hole in the wall diner. I'll grab a clubhouse there.

    Yes. A couple things interrupted my plans for extending the juicing further. Juicing as opposed to water fasting allows more flexibility in that regard.

    Another pork bahn mi day.

    No pictures because I ate it so quickly. They know me well enough by now, but they never know what I'm going to order because I sometimes get egg rolls too.
