My dad and I enjoy flying an aircraft operated out of Guntersville Municipal Airport (8A1) and a couple of hangers over from us there's an aircraft advertised for sale by an elderly lady. The 1942 Aeronca L3 was a shared aircraft between her son and her husband, last flown approximately a year ago, however her son was killed 6 years ago (I didn't press for details) and her husband has recently passed on. She's not a pilot herself and needs to pass the plane on to new owners. I am using my own quota of advert limits to list the aircraft for her and I am detailing everything I know of the aircraft in one go, so you should direct purchasing questions to the contact telephone number in the advert.

Bad timing for me... and probably too late for flight school.

    But man, that's a beauty!

What's the hanger space cost for those interested in keeping where it is?
