348 Shifter help.

    I removed my shifter from my mondial t. I followed the broken shift lever thread but when I take the center bolt out the shifter mechanism will not come out from the housing!

    I did this because of an internal rattle at high rpms. Do you know what may be causing the rattle?

    Never mind I got it apart.
    The only thing I could see that may cause the rattle is that I could slightly wiggle the shift pole around when the 2 pieces that hold it in were together. Would you recommend ordering a new shift pole?
