In case you havent heard, the annual FCA Ferrari Concorso, held in Pasadena previously, will be part of the San Marino Motor Classic this year on June 9th. The Ferrari portion will be a "show within the show" as we have made arrangements for 140 Ferraris (70 judged and 70 show only). We will continue to have our own FCA judges, judging criteria and awards and have the premier placement on the lawn in Lacy Park.

The added benefit this year is that there will be double the amount of cars to see - both Ferraris and non-Ferraris.

Sign ups are ongoing and we are about half full already so I suggest that you sign up soon. Looking to especially add more older Ferraris - pre 1980.

Go to the web site Sanmarinomotorclassis.com to sign up. Your registration includes admission for you and a guest so no need to purchase the individual tickets.

Great show. $100 entry fee includes admission for two people, breakfast and goody bag. Lots of gourmet lunch trucks at the show, so lunch is inexpensive. I’ve gone every year (display only) and it’s a really nice event and the proceeds go to charity.

    I get it.
I'm known for that on my phone.

    I'm excited for this event.
I love Ferraris displayed on the grass.

Bumping this. About 2/3's of the Ferrari spaces have been filled so sign up now. It should be a great show. Cost to attend w/o your car is $25 per ticket. Better to bring your Ferrari. It gets you a spot on the lawn, entrance for 2 + breakfast and goodie bag.

My wife and I enjoyed the show, Fcars had center stage too bad there were no trees to help with the direct sun.
    Will be there next year.

    My true honest opinion.
I was very impressed with the Classic car show in itself. LOVED the setting/location. I know this was Ferrari's 1st year, I was hoping some more, rare classic Ferraris. It seemed the non Ferraris were real "Show" cars, The Ferraris were mostly drivers.

First year for FCA at this event so we are looking for feedback on what we can do better next year. We are thinking about a Ferrari VIP tent for some shade with some restrooms. Also different ways to group the cars to make them easier to see. Will also be reaching out to our members with the more vintage vehicles for feedback on why they did not participate like they do at Pasadena.

Overall I thought it was a very good show and something to build upon for next year.

Let me start out my saying cars on the grass beats the asphalt on any day and is the only way to have a concours. There was alot of wasted open ground in the middle of the field. It appeared as if the cars were lined up in the order they entered as if in a parking lot trying to conserve space. Don't mean to be rude or critical but whoever designed the layout should not be allowed to do that again. Just copy how the big boys do it. Cars should be displayed by class and identified as such. Displaying them in an oval or circular format would work best at this venue with endless possibilities in the middle. Aaron Weiss has been successfully putting on this event for 10 years now in beautiful San Marino and with the addition of FCA SW this can hopefully, with some effort, become a National Level event .
