Took my mother out to a quick bite for lunch this afternoon, sitting at the table next to us was a lady with her 34 year old son who has cerebral palsy. My mother subtly asked her if he liked sports cars. He perked up a little bit and began to nod. So on our way out I went and pulled the car over to their van to let him see her. He began smiling, yelling vroom, kicking, and could barely control his excitement. I wonder if he remembered the car at all from childhood. Either way it made his day and ours. I always get a kick out of the little guys freaking out over the car as we all know what it's like to have been the kid dreamer. But this was much much cooler, I got a little misty eyed.

Brad - that was a nice thing to do. Much appreciated.

Thank God for those of us that have good health. Looks like medical science is struggling with CP.

Thanks fellas. And I agree it makes you grateful for what you have which is always how I was raised. Anytime I have a minor complaint physical or otherwise, I just remember there are people who can't walk, see, perform daily tasks, etc.
