Anyone else have a bad experience with these guys saying one thing and doing something different? They have given a total run around.

Had promised getting me something in 10-14 days - its been 20 and they cant even give me an idea of when it will show

Spoke to Punu? Now the manager Doug??

Anyone ever deal with these people before??????????????? Did I get taken?

If you have ordered a new OEM part, please be aware, often the parts are on back order from the factory and the ETA the factory provides can get moved out and even turn into NLA. My suggestion is you call Russ and speak with him directly.

Worked with Punu on 2 separate orders. It did take a little while (and a few phone calls) but I got exactly what I ordered and in the condition they described. I am a happy customer.

As an aside, one of the parts came from their facility in Sacramento and that was fairly quick. The other item shipped direct from the UK and took a little longer.

I have ordered parts from them and as Dave said, if parts are coming from Europe, it can take a while. I have worked with both people (Russ and Punu) and it was a positive experience.

I always have dealt with Punu. Never and issue. Shipping does take a bit longer unless you specify priority.

I paid him in full. He estimated 7-10 days for me to receive my part. It’s been 18 days I still don’t have a shipping confirmation. Coming from Europe and I’m guessing 5 more business days to ship from Cali to me. I keep emailing them and get the most Vague and unspecific responses.

Luckily I chose to pay through PayPal. At first they wanted my credit card via phone call?! ... very professional.

Giving them 2 more days before I pull the plug on this.

    Horrible experience.
Anyone know another parts company in the US?

Sponsor Ricambi for example or even your local Ferrari dealer especially if its for newer parts - the catch comes if its not in stock at vendor / dealer / FNA / Ferrari Italy which is the check at time of order

I've purchased many used immobililzers and other parts from Punu and never had a problem. Even contacting them through their ebay store they respond quickly. When I bought parts for my 355 major Russ promised OEM factory parts and I received just that, exactly as described.

Ricambi is also great, never a problem with them either.

Glen at AMH Parts is good.

What's wrong with giving your credit card over the phone for a purchase? How is that at all unprofessional? I've purchased tons of stuff doing that. Maybe Robert Mueller has wiretapped your phone?

Any parts that have to come from Italy are “wait and pray”. Sounds like you’re still in the waiting phase. You still have the “pray it’s the right part” phase coming up. I’ve had this discussion with my independent mechanics. Not many options for certain parts.

Paypal sucks IMO. Use a quality credit card - yes even over the phone - and if your not satisfied just don't pay it. The CC company will tell them too bad. If you don't get the part within the billing cycle (or even two) then its up to you to bail.

Just curious. What race boat manufactures are you thinking of when you say that?

Never had an issue getting anybody on the horn in the wonderful world of offshore powerboats.
