Ok, since the year is already a quarter done, it is not too late to start the appropriate spotters thread for New England. Here we go......

Two weeks ago I was getting off I95 at Rte. 152. Just ahead of me there was a black 550 or 575.

For the life of me I can't tell the difference between the two. Last year at the FCA annual meet there were two side by side. I kept looking at each to see the differences. If they're side by side I can tell, but if I just see one of them, who knows! :D

Yes, we still exist, but the Fcar owner’s we get rarely visit Fchat so we stopped posting updates here. Also we now meet in Tiverton. Probably start meeting again sometime in May.

Back on topic... saw this light metallic green 400i on 24S about 2 weeks ago. NH plates, don’t know the owner.

I’ve been told the easiest way to tell is to look at the headlights, there is a difference inside the lens.

Drove down to Newport, RI today in the 612 on a gorgeous sunny day to join friends for lunch at Castle Hill. Just off Bellevue Ave. spotted a red 458 Spyder with the top down.

BTW, my wife is a coleslaw connoisseur, and she said their coleslaw was the BEST she has ever tasted. A word to the wise. ;)

Yesterday at the Boston Harbor Hotel: a silver California. I don’t think it was a T. Beige interior. I drive my 78 308 as much as I can. Love seeing other cars being used.

    Paul,

How often do you head down to Newport? I'm there as often as I am in NH these days.

We go down only once or twice per summer season. Sometimes with the 612 and sometimes with the Harley. Nick, Michael and Wendy have never been there and yesterday we convinced them to join us when we go to Castle Hill.

I must have passed the Red Parrot thousands of times but have never dined there. I'll put it on the list!

The 400 looks like new plates, rare color... the 575 have a 3 round projector setup per side, with some color keyed bezel. 550 is more basic.

Any other spotters threads on FB nowadays?

While not a Ferrari saw something that piqued my interest Monday it was a nsx with right hand drive which I thought was pretty rare. I would say it was a first generation nsx I saw it on route 146 south in Massachusetts.

Saw a red either 458 or 488 in Cranston r.i. behind a building which would of fronted oak lawn avenue I was on route 2 near car max and saw it over the other side of the fence bordering route 2. Also I’m pretty sure I saw a 550 or 575 at a repair shop on Pontiac ave near the waterman school also in Cranston. 2 sitings within 5 minutes in Cranston who woulda thought!

Haha, yeah that was me. Car shows are great but nothing beats seeing a Ferrari out in the wild. I assumed you were a vehicle on their way back from the Sanbornton show - I was heading home from Tutto, just dropped off my brother-in-law at the park n' ride.

How was the Sanbornton show? Any pics?

The show was great. A few of the local FCoA members caravanned up with me from southern NH. Great assortment of makes and models including some incredible vintage race cars. Nick's collection is really amazing. These pictures don't do the cars of the venue justice.

A few of the FCoA Members watching the cars drive in. We had a great spot on the right side of the driveway.

Thanks! Looks like a good time was had there, didn’t even get to see either an F40 or a yellow 355 at Tutto, plus it was only 10 minutes from my house...will have to check that out next time.

Congrats on the award, what was it for?
