For those of us old enough to remember ties, choosing a wheel design is like choosing a tie to go with your suit. It's all about personal taste.
My F8 order/build was sent in last week.....I chose the RFSD wheels....but I do like the Cerchio standard wheels....I am going to visit the dealership in a couple of weeks to look at them on their configurator.... I chose Rosso Corsa and Cuoio with Daytona seats....but am considering Rosso Scuderia also.... I really want a “classic” Ferrari color combination..... Any suggestions would be appreciated..
The color Rosso Mugello is a darker red and non-metallic and goes well with cuoio. The Rosso Scuderia has more of an 'orange' tone to the color than Rosso Corsa. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Factory wheels should look reserved and classic. It should compliment the car, not draw too much attention away from the car. The new F8 “upgraded” wheels look like some try-hard SEMA show Forgiato wheels making the F8 look like it was designed by a Ninja. Just imagine putting these wheels on a La Ferrari vs the classic 5 spoke it has now. The La Ferrari is still a sharper, more futuristic looking, and bolder looking car than the F8, but putting these Ninja star wheels on would definitely cheapen the look.
I really do like Rosso Mugello...it appears very rich... I have seen several older F cars...with the Rosso Murgello/Cuoio....would this combo be considered “classic “....
I think that Rosso Mugello could be considered a classic color. The color reminds me of the 1947 Ferrari 125s. Though in the 1950's and 1960's many other colors besides red were popular... Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks for the suggestion....I really wanted to get something other than Rosso Corsa.... I have a few weeks to decide...

Yes 1940 AAC 815 there! Before Ferrari could officially call his car a 'Ferrari' after he left Alfa Romeo...
I really like this color...very close to Rosso Mugello.... Thanks for the great pictures... I think I am going to change to RM...especially with the Cuoio interior...
I believe the 488 forged 20'' are also applicable Image Unavailable, Please Login I guess Ferrari is going to add other forged rim designs in the near future.
IMO as wheels option is very subjective is that the better balanced look will always be 5 spoke. That's why I have the standard on my 488GTB . Believe me if they had a forged version I would have bought it.. Aftermarket could be an option but not for me , maybe on a Toyota but not on a Ferrari.
I specced up on here in the UK last week at the dealer. He assured me more wheels will come online soon. Still umming and ahhing about whether I want the car at all...whether I want it alongside the 458...decisions decisions
Regarding wheels, I believe all 488 wheels can be sourced through "Ferrari genuine" as replacement parts. And for instance I think the wheels pictured in post 1912 have only been available through Ferrari genuine and were not offered by Ferrari as new car spec.
Yes Ferrari Genuine offered a wheel like that. The wheel had to come from the dealership and was not offered at the factory when built.

Curious to know : on my 488 GTB I went with the passenger display ( happy wife happy life ) But since I didn't want any carbon the trim surrounding the display is piano black and I like it. With the F8 is this the same ?
