Replaced fuel line, banjo fittings, and clamps on a friend's 1972 Ferrari Daytona. We made a run to Costco for gas to fill up. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah, I think the 550 will be the better “investment” or lose the least amount of money over time Bertrand. It’s also equally easy to service as our 328’s.. I think I will need to upgrade the stock exhaust though like I did with the 328. But I will know that when I get it home. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hi Martin To be honest, the Daytona is my fav and first choice, but I’m not ready to sell body parts or children to get one.. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Excellent! I lost the driver's side main lamp this weekend & feared some complex wiring issue. I opened the pod housing this morning and simply found its plug had disconnected. I didn't even need to change the bulb
Luckily, I have three friends which live within 20 minutes that have a Daytona. One is 72 USA, other is a Euro model , and the other a 69 Daytona. Another friend which lives a half mile away has a 250 Ellena and 330 2+2. Worked on these also. Showing photos of my 308 door gasket installation. Removed the old pieces and installed the new. I would prefer to own one myself. My friends' beautiful wives are of no advantage to me as well Best Regards Martin
I would like to own one myself, but two were bought at $200k and the 69 for $79k. I should have bought the Miura offered for $79k at the same time in 1999. Oh well . I had to buy a house to make my wife happy. I was asked if I wanted to purchase one of two 355 Spiders(96 or 99) owned by one of the Daytona owners.
I had to remove various items from the right side of the engine so that I could get in to repair a hole in the front manifold on my ‘74 308 GT4 so I decided to replace the cam belts while I was in there. Apart from taking the belt covers off, which was a bit of a pain due to having to remove the studs, replacing the belts was pretty straightforward. I marked all of the pulleys and the belts and then transferred the marks onto the new belts so that I could be sure everything went back in the same place. Paul

I took a nice ride yesterday in my 89 328, this is my second stint since the AC and the suspension rebuild, car is running like a top, I did notice my idle was dropping way to low when the AC was on , on initial deceleration , I was able to adjust the idle screw, and now its absolutely PERFECT !! I now have to replace my cabin filter, which has been delivered, along with the AC yellow fan speed switch, which also has been delivered. Thank you
Vredestein tires back in the original spec, handles like a new machine next to the wide bfg radials that were on there. And, added a battery hold down from eurospares.
Last few days have all been the same... call from the workshop manager, "While we're here doing this, do you want us to do that..."
But thank you for that - prompted me to think about epoxying the garages in the new home before I move in!
