Wow! NBA Playoffs are here and no thread?? Guess I’ll start one.

    Series predictions anyone?

West Coast will definitely be GSW or Rockets. Might as well view it as the NBA Finals.

East Coast is up in the air imo.

If GSW goes to the finals, East coast has no chance. If Rockets make it, we could have an interesting Finals.

I am a Rockets fan (born, raised, and live in the Houston area), but I don't see them beating GSW being down 0-2. The east will be better this year, but will not beat GSW (nor will POR or DEN).

I've never been a Celtics fan (in spite of the fact that I'm related to Red Auerbach) but I'm rooting for them this year. Al Horford is a Florida Gator and Jaylen Brown attended Wheeler High here in Marietta, where I saw him play. Golden State has had their fun, now it's time for someone else.

HOU cannot win 4 out of 5 against GSW, even if they win games 3 and 4.

Kawhi is my favorite current player, so I am hoping they make it out of the east, although I know the rest of Raptors suck balls.

Yes, unfortunately not many NBA fans here. I love the NBA and can't watch college basketball much anymore...the coaching and player skill is so poor by comparison.

I think top seeds advance in all rounds (again) and it will be Bucks - Warriors, but I hope I'm wrong.

Pretty sure all the western conference teams currently playing would beat whoever comes out of the east, but it really doesn’t matter because GS simply has too many weapons.

I would say Portland and Denver are not much better than the teams in the East if they are.

Playoffs are starting to look a bit more interesting. GSW still the clear favorite, but everything else is a bloodbath.

Two games yesterday were exciting win-or-bust affairs, no team wants to go down 3-1 and Raptors and Nuggets both winning on the road in hostile arenas with the score coming down to the wire made for compelling TV. Leonard is a monster carrying the Raptors this whole post-season. Murray and Joker stepped up. Joker makes phenomenal passes and Murray had ice in his veins on the FT line down the stretch.

Well both the Celtics and the Bruins tipoff/faceoff at 7 PM tonight. Needless to say I'll be watching the Bruins.

I've been a fan of basketball since I was a kid. Never watched a full game of college basketball in my entire life. The skill level just never caught my interest. Will watch highlights of talented players though.

Hopefully the Rockets can make it a 2-2 series tonight so the rest of the series is interesting.

Yes. That would officially turn the entire playoffs into one big messy bloodbath.

Game 3 was exciting, lot of role players stepped up with big buckets to support Harden. Hopefully today's game goes to the Rockets.

Well, I think that tonight was the game the Celtics had to win. Now they'll just be Irish Toast...

Great series so far and I'm glad it's going to at least game 6. I still think all the top seeds advance...

Rockets seem to have a more orchestrated offense under Harden, which leads to better looks. They seem to be putting more pressure on the GSW defense causing their defensive rebounding to be all out of sync. GSW is also burning more energy on the defensive end.

GSW seems to running off a “I’ll shoot it if I feel like it” offense. Klay has been heaving up shots like a mad man. Durant has been hitting tough shots. Not sure how sustainable that will be.

Not sure if GSW is that much better than Rockets at this point. This is going to be a great series.

Rockets making it a series. Hope they can carry momentum to a win inCali but doubt KD and Curry will miss 3's like they did at the end of the game.

The Rockets mental fortitude, hustle, and defense have definitely gotten better as the series has progressed, if they continue this, it will be a 7 game series. I expect GSW shooting will get better as well. The last three games have been enjoyable to watch after they got all the crying done in game 1.
