Restricting engine development on the ground of limiting cost, but allowing constant aero change is a nonsense.
Yep. The sheer cost involved is incredible. The aerodynamic cost to develop is insane these days. Mercedes brings a decent update nearly every race...New wing? that means new (extremely complicated) bargeboards, which means new floor, which means change to rear wing, diffuser and so on. At this point...take bargeboards off! F2004 bargeboard (nicely highlighted in white here) Image Unavailable, Please Login 2019 bargeboards Image Unavailable, Please Login
