At this rate MB is going to kill F1 the same way Posche killed Can am and WEC . Also , if there was any doubt that F1 is in trouble , this season is very indicative of the troubles of the series

Season was over since the previous-season :( I warned everyone that Mercedes was sandbagging and would dominate the season.

It only took Porsche two seasons with the 917 Turbo to kill the CanAm. F1 is dying a comparatively slow death.

And Bottas only got his No.2 engineer... now imagine what he could do if he would get the No.1 :D

I think it's a bit simplistic to say that Porsche "killed" the CanAm and the WEC.
    I blame the organisers.

You cannot accuse Mercedes to do a better job than the rest of the grid.

Let's face it: the Mercedes are just faster. Hamilton's fast lap looked very untidy, and yet he still finished ahead of the Ferraris.

The announcement of death of F1 is a bit premature, IMO.

It's mostly coming from those who don't like the present formula.

I would like the present formula to die. :)

NB, the current cars couldn't keep up with the 2004 cars if the 2004 cars had slicks instead of grooved tires. All this hybrid crud is an expensive joke. And a fraud.

After 5 years of trying, Ferrari should have caught up with Mercedes by now.
In all aspects, chassis, aero, power unit, organisation, drivers and strategy, they are still behind.

It's likely to be maintained in a slightly altered form as far as power units go.
Too much money has been invested there, for the constructors just to let go of years of R&D, I think.

True, but you cannot deny that the current rules/specs were and are created to Mercedes whims/benefits. ;)

Somebody please prove me wrong :)

The season is over unless you want to know which Merc driver will win. Ferrari fail.

If you are a fan of the team why even bother tuning in? Even qualifying is boring. No one wants to see underachievers

Well, that's what some like to say.
The fact is that the other manufacturers were consulted in deciding the hybrid formula..
Renault and Honda were particularly interested in writting the rules and Ferrari went along with it too.
No one can say the current rules were imposed on them, and in fact I have never heard another constructor claim that.

All the talk of "respect" between Ham and Porridge could very well go out of the window on Sunday. It is now a real mental battle,Porridge is riding high on a wave right now,Ham will have to really attack the no longer Mr nice guy.

Which makes me nervous regarding Ferrari's "big announcement" at the end of the month.
