1000 cv = 986 hp. The current F154 turbo V8 is 710 hp so that leaves 276 hp for three electric motors assuming one at each front wheel and one LaF style in the back (which was 160 hp and and 187 hp on the FXX-K). All the electric motors, electronics, cabling and batteries would seem to be a weight concern over the 488 variants. Maybe new modular chassis gives some back or its another electric configuration.

I was told (by a well prepared witness that had the permission to give a look inside) that there is a FUV mule travelling here around, with an hybrid engine. In the future we will see a lot of hybrid V6 engine as Ferrari will stop the V6 (and V8) production for Maserati so there will be the enormous actual Building of the V6 engines that will switch to Ferrari V6 engine production (that won't have the Chrysler Pentastar crankcase anymore). Ferrari F8/488 Pista successor will have it, as well as the Portofino/Dino and FUV. This means Ferrari will cross the 10k units production as soon as the V6 will be available and they will have to reduce a lot the emissions due to the passage to a "big producer" status from the actual "small producer". ciao

I would expect/hope that Ferrari could extract closer to 800hp from the V8, especially if they don’t have to worry about turbo lag (electric motors will provide torque fill).
Crossing 10k units only means they’ll be too many depreciating Ferrari’s and doesn't really effect Ferrari’s emissions because as all the exceptions for a small producer are going away and their will be no exceptions for emissions no matter how few cars you build by 2028 and before that euro 7 kicks in 2023.
Actually 1000 CV means 1000 metric horsepower (HP in English or PS in German). Both the UK and the US need to get over the silly imperial BHP (which until 1959 was not even exactly the same between the 2 countries as the imperial and the american foot were slightly different, thus altering the equation that calculates power based on torque multiplied by RPM). Highly unlikely. Most probably a 750 CV V8 and a 250 CV electric motor, both powering the rear wheels.

Not really. 1000 CV (Italian and French)/(metric) HP (English)/PS (German) is 986 Imperial BHP. At the end of the day, does it make any difference whether it is 1000 or 980something? I am confident that the actual CV rating won't be exactly 1000 either.
Don’t mean to be pedantic but I don’t understand your point. There is a given power X. In terms of CV it is 1,000. In terms of US HP it is 986. The actual power is unchanged. People like me from the US cannot relate to CV numbers so we convert the number to HP. That is what makes the difference. If I tell you an area is so many acres or sections, you will likely need to translate to your language or convert it to something you can relate to. That’s all this is.
