That didn’t go well. The only thing he liked was $3k/mo. He got slammed by many rental agents, one places price increased $150/mo while he was there. I think he’s had to reset his expectations.

 

Yeah, not surprised. When we talked a couple of months ago and you told me about his 1.5k budget and wanting to be inside the loop you might remember we both agreed he might be in for some disappointment.
Don’t worry though. They’ll find a place in their budget. They’ll commute a little farther, but they’ll be ok.

Upper Kirby/River Oaks, near Kirby and Westheimer. He went a little over budget but got a 2 bed/2 bath so he'll have room for me to visit and stay for extended periods. When it's not Summer.

Congrats! That's a great area with a ton of good restaurants and bars with easy access to both the Med Center and the Galleria. He's going to be spoiled!
