BAT auction sells 31K mile 1988 328 GTS in Red/Tan for $70,555 (sight unseen) It had some repaint and I would call the car "Good" not "Excellent" Many views and watchers! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was watching that one. Dealer said he "paid a premium" to acquire the car recently, which was suppose to be already sold. Gives some insight on wholesale.
Gooding Auction - Amelia Island 3/8/19 1987 328 GTS, under 20k miles, Red /Tan Sold $75,600 https://www.goodingco.com/vehicle/1987-ferrari-328-gts/
Rare prugna GTB for sale. No VIN confirm but that should be #81569 … https://www.mcqueenclassics.com/details/used-1989-ferrari-328-gtb/47891486
Asking prices are much higher though. Seems like people are advertising but not really wanting to sell. Here is my research on asking prices if it helps anyone else. Date acquired was 3/22/2019.
Red/black 1982 308 GTBi - Auction ends in 1 day https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1982-ferrari-308-gtbi-2/
Good article from June 19, 2019 (on rarity and valuation) https://classicmotorsports.com/articles/buy-sell-its-all-numbers/
One can get a "nice" Ferrari 308 for $25-$30K? This article was dated 6 days ago? This year? I have seen roached out cars listed for $30K. Wouldn't call them nice. Doug
Here's another one, 70765, which has been mentioned before in this thread: The following BaT Auctions listing has ended: 15k-Mile 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS Winning Bid: $85,000
It was nice to see one go for good money! That’s more like it. These cars are fantastic and beautiful and it always baffles me when cars that are produced in much higher numbers go for more than these usually do.
An 86 sold for less than that (but same ballpark) our of Florida with about 11,000 miles and a clean car fax about 2 months ago.
The black 328 sold for 85k plus buyers fee ( so almost 90) on BaT and the blue 308 sold for 90k plus buyers fee ( 94,500). Maybe these cars are starting to pick back up a bit and get a little well deserved respect ?
Was that the right money for that black 328 GTS on BAT? $85k seems incredibly high to me for a car that had a minor accident . The blue one for $90k I get because it is so rare and it was photographed like a piece of art.
