Ferrari people might want low miles but dealers don’t price this. There seems to be very little discount for higher miles.

Hey Nat, did you see the self-referenced ‘expert’ claiming that TRs are selling at 130k in there?!

At least I can’t be blamed for that one- he did come up with an IRS definition so looks credible to me;))

How can something be ‘undervalued’ if demonstrably it is not selling? Clearly, low miles are worth nothing although they may attract more buyers.

And you don’t have to worry about service history with mine, back to 1999 nearly 2” tall stack including original warranty card from importer Wide World of Cars in Spring Valley, NY. Ironically where my father bought his first BMW in 1994 and I recall seeing F40’s in for service.

Anyway, I’m just in a good mood seeing a solid car sell for a fair price.

I dont think there is a much more exotic and fun car you can buy right now for 100k. Id also like to add a 328, and maybe a 348... But then again I want an Aventador, 930 Turbo, Lotus Esprit, Pantera Gt5 :D:eek::p

I didn't think you would want an Aventador with the paddle shift ( no choice)

I've lusted after one for awhile but I keep hearing reliably issues over and over from shops I trust. I'm beginning to wonder about buying one. Maybe just an LP640 Roadster.

I think 30k is the tipping point. Less than that 10s or 20s would be very similar in value, more than 30k miles and the car gets hit a bit more. We still need to remember these are 1000 miles per year. I think is pretty low even for a Ferrari. Most of them were driven the most back in the late 80s early 90s and then not that much.

You know , since 1999 I have seen many testarossa’s with 15-20 miles. Twenty years later, I still see many testarossa’s with 15-20 miles.
    Wonder why that is .....

Because, even though nobody on this forum has the stones to actually admit kit, these cars are a ***** to drive in around town!!
Sure they are great on the highway but using one to drive to your office in a crowded traffic city is tough. The lack of power steering is rough at low speeds or if you are in a tight parking ramp etc.
As a result the cars are weekend cars....at best. Probably driven monthly at best is more accurate.
Yeah, I know there are many on this forum that "daily" their TR's but those folks are clearly in the minority.

I don’t know - I keep finding it odd how many cars still have under 20,000 miles all these years later .....

    P u s s y ;)

    Just kidding!! lol

The Testarossa is a great car to daily drive. Sure, no power steering and a transmission that shifts only when it's good and ready but that's what makes it so hardcore!

Only 40 miles to go then I hit 70,000 !! I'm going out tonight to do the groceries then off to a club. If I don't hit it tonight, then Sunday for sure when we have our secret Ferrari and Lamborghini owners gathering in Kissimmee.

Ok that’s one slant to the explanation here. But I think there is something far more disturbing going on here. I believe most of you don’t have the nerve to admit it. I think people like Parnelli are driving their cars all over the place and are simply disconnecting or even possibly rolling back the odometer. Then he’ll sell his car in a few years for a huge profit. I’ll ask how come the car has less miles on it now then when you bought it? Oh yeah and there’s a few collectors that never drive their cars too. Lol

I honestly don't think it's that nefarious. Like most Ferraris, people covet them and don't want to drive them for fear of resale value loss because of the miles.
