I can't see Lewis and Max co-existing at Mercedes, neither would respect team orders or team mates.

 

It would be worse than when Nico was there.

 

Where is Bottles going ??? Ferrari to pair with LeClerc ????

 

Highly doubt it, no way Lewis will allow Mercedes to sign Verstappen unless he is leaving. Bottas has done a great job so far this year and needs to stay at Mercedes.

 

I doubt it's true unless Elton has decided to retire/Ferrari rumour true.

In the Lewis throwing a fit department? Yes absolutely.

 

And Max would be Sid's favorite non-Ferrari driver.

 

Max Verstappen has more chance to go to Ferrari than to Mercedes, IMO.

 

At least Max is not passive-aggressive.

 

Lets be clear here, Hamilton DOES NOT call the shots in the Team.

If TOTO wants Verstapen or whomever on the team, they will be on the team.

 

I would love to see Max and Lewis in the same team but there is no way I see that happening unless Toto/Lewis are on their way out of the team after 2020

 

Doubt Merc would drop Bottas MK11.

So maybe Lewis replacing Vettel? Toto has said he wouldn't object if he wanted to go.

 

Oh please, let’s not have this again..... Elton to ferrari would be a disaster, swapping a burnt out Seb for a whining diva. **** that, sign Mick Schumacher to partner Chuckles and lets go racing. Elton can retire and go singing, or dancing, or whatever his supposed next talent is. Maybe he’ll combine the two and do a drag act..... he has the clothes for it

 

Don't know about that, maybe a couple seasons ago that would have been the case, today with winning 4 championships for Mercedes, I would think he is pretty influential on making decisions.

Max would eat him alive, they won’t be able to get Maxine to shut up if they try to hobble his car, unlike ‘company man’ Nico. Max would scream blue murder and simply drive Elton off the track into the gravel to punish them. Elton is terrified of him... it will be retirement for Elton if Maxine comes to Mercedes, and no one else but ferrari or red bull could afford him, and neither of those teams want nor need him

 

Unless Hamilton retires, the Merc lineup will remain the same.

 

Not so sure...he was very close to signing with Mercedes before. His dad is good mates with Toto.

 

I don't see Max working with anyone and I'm a fan!

Could we be seeing Vettel in 2020 as the last year to prove himself or make way for Hamilton!?

Hamilton/Leclerc
Verstappen/Bottas
Vettel/(retirement?!)

If so, Ferrari is making really big development plans for Leclerc, by teaming him up with F1 history's most dominant drivers in the new eras - post-2009 V8, V6 hybrid in Vettel and Hamilton.
If Leclerc can take them on successfully, he will be interesting to race against Verstappen in a strong class leading car.

LeClerc would destroy Elton in the same machinery, because Elton won’t be able, nor willing to try, to drive around the issues surrounding a car that isn’t perfect. Vettel is not exactly showing himself in a great light, no doubt as a result of several years of trying to drive around and make up for issues with the car. Elton will fare no better, plus, the real tifosi HATE the prick with a vengeance
