The video worked earlier today but seems to be gone now....:(

Maybe Ferrari will call BB the 808 for the new 'flagship' model.

Unfortunately I have 2-8.30pm shifts this week, so I completely missed it.

By the way, I'm hoping for a nice italian name, no numbers or acronyms this time.

During 1987, prior to the F40 launch, the Italian press named it "Le Mans" . Possibly it could have been the real name, if Gino Rancati didn't suggest "F40" to Enzo

I was also thinking about Rivoluzione/Revolution.
"It will remind us of a Ferrari model launched years ago" = 599XX Evo
"Also an actual car, a fast one" = Zonda Revolucion.

After all, Manzoni said this is gonna be a Copernican revolution...

It's not what they're saying Its what I'm saying based on Personal experience of buying Ferrari's over 22 years.
Over that time period I've had at least a 10-12 friends that would have purchased a new Ferrari had it Not been
for the 2-3 year wait for the production model of their desire. So the pent up demand is such that Ferrari could easily
build 20,000 units a year and be just fine.Only thing will suffer is dealer margins

I have no idea the quantity or even the actual price of the BB but just going to respond to your quote. Yes, folks that could not deal with 'the list' went elsewhere. However, many on that list were buyers at the extreme prices and deliver times because there was such a list to begin with. Ferrari luxury and excellence comes with the knowledge that they are rare and therefore naturally sought after. Putting 20,000 or more out quickly would make the models more commonplace. That is what would be so different. We are used to 5K or 6K units and the list which was LDM style. Just pointing out that demand can suffer when availability is assured.

You have to be careful what you post on social media. It can get you into trouble QUICK.
    But
Yes please tell us what you heard , the sound of the Ferrari.

Beh, Stefano, ecco cosa mi farebbe piacere sapere:

    Grazie, ciao

PS: Complimenti per come guidi la tua Yamaha Tracer 900!

    ----------

Well, Stefano, here's what I'd like to know:

    1) when you went at low speed, did the Ferrari engine turn off and the car proceeded only in electric?

    2) Is the car sound the same as the 488-488 Pista?

    3) Do the rear lights have a round shape like the usual Ferrari ones or are they different?

And everything you've noticed, for as long as you've followed. In Italian or in English, never mond: we can translate all you will write.

    Thanks.

    Ciao

PS: Congratulations on how you drive your Yamaha Tracer 900!

Last Friday, a French owners group visited the factory and Scaglietti . ( information by Franck .
    theferrarista.com )
Visiting the later they were very surprised to see the complete F173 bodywork and the 812 spyder bodywork.
According to Franck the F173 is a coupé ( maybe Targa will come later ? )
    Car is wide and "flat"
    Huge rounded lateral intakes .
Front cover with a s duct covering the entire base of it, not "too high " and going up on each side .
812 spyder is beautiful even completely naked .( according to him )

    I'm not sure .
But this is not military secret ..
Just some "vague" details not an accidental picture leaked with the complete car.

    Grazie.

I'd like to hear a more detailed impression about sound and acceleration, in regards to the first few seconds when the Ferrari overtakes two cars and seems to literally fly away.

Round intakes? Not a fan of that idea but hopefully it can pulled off in a nice way.

To be more precise he said "half-circle" air intake.

I was told of batteries, hybrid V8, 900+ power, front electric axle (something like the Honda NSX), weight, full electric mode capabilities. This MORE THAN one year ago so the car that goes into production could be different. The "targa" was never mentioned so I was assuming it was a coupè: I read of a "targa" only here on Fchat. I never saw anything, so I just refer what I have been told.

If Franck (I met him here some years ago, he is a great guy) saw a coupè (like it's logic to predict), it will be a coupè. No idea if there will be a Targa sooner or later.

My source is not Benuzzi, that told me (about Ferrari future models) only what I posted in post No. 1754 https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/new-v8-mid-engined-model-big-brother.595398/page-71#post-146614163

Then the shape might be similar to these above, probably in a different/higher position.

At this point, I'm not so sure about a roofless version but the mule at Fiorano didn't seem to be a coupé. Even Ingegnere said the roof line was very difficult to predict and that It was either a spider or a targa...
