    On this day in '66 Stewart won the #MonacoGP for BRM, his 2nd GP win, 40.2sec ahead of Bandini (Ferrari; pic); 3rd was Hill (BRM) & 4th Bondurant (privateer BRM), 5 laps down. No-one else finished; indeed the race holds the record for fewest classified finishers in #F1 history.

    The #MonacoGP was won on this day in ’77 by Scheckter, here leading into Ste-Dévote in his pretty Wolf. 2nd is pole man Watson (Brabham), who retired, 3rd Reutemann (Ferrari), who came 3rd. In the background is the other Ferrari, in which Lauda brilliantly charged to 2nd.
