By polarizing I was referring more to the gold wheels, blue calipers, and the lack of full carbon. By the way, I love your spec. Congrats. I’m super jealous.
The Pista on eBay interior made my head spin, also the lack of carbon fiber, engine bay , door sills etc, This is a light option car missing a lot of carbon will turn of a lot of secondary buyers off, in my opinion... but all it takes is one buyer as was said before...
F8 will have the Pista drivetrain. Wouldn’t that take away from the special nature of the Pista? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The final reliable verdict will come from those that will try Pista and F8 back to back. I am also among those that think that Pista will feel a lot different just as Speciale feels vs 458, and in the Speciale case the engine "tune" is not the biggest difference one feel when you drive it compared to a normal 458, I think it will be the driving dynamics of the Pista that will trump F8 when pushing it hard...
In Germany they asked me the last month now two times, if I want a Pista. (I ordered F8 Tributo) Today I got from a friend a message, they got a call from the dealer. If they want from the third charge a Pista. And today I read here the same in German here. He get one and never bought a new Ferrari before. https://www.carpassion.com/forum/thema/60189-auswahlkriterien-488-pista/ So be carefully with high Pista prices. In my opinion they will go down.
There's forum talk, and then there's reality. Clearly two different things. I mean why would anyone take an F8 over a Pista in a situation where the criteria has been (supposedly) removed entirely. The whole claim is just so far fetched from anything I've seen and heard to date it's borderline laughable.
I know 3 persons and me and my friends are real. The other person from the forum I linked I know from a meeting. So thats for sure no forum talk.
If I believe that i'm basically saying I will believe anything. Sorry, it's a lovely story, but I'm not buying. I will let others be their own judge on this fairy tale to whether they wish to give it any credence. It's like Germany is the new Geneva now. Pista's being foisted upon prospective F8 buyers and anyone else who walks in. Sigh... wheres yangang and that other dude (foxy) with multiple users. I'm sure they will back your story up.
I understand your opinion but I can not understand you saying/thinking I am lie. This make me sad how you talk with friendly people.
I'm not saying or thinking anything other than saying no way am I buying this....and that I smell a fox in this.
I think the f8 will be closer to the Pista than some of you think in driving experience. Let's not forget just how much power these cars have and how difficult they are to drive without traction control on in the first place.
I am not saying this is exactly the same at least not for me but people are selling or bypassing the Performante for the Evo to have the latest thing from Lambo. The Perf is the more special car but some just want the latest thing + most will never track so the slightly softer version is more appealing.
