    I want to use one of these for my ashes for my boy to look after when I drop dead but have had a hell of a time trying to find a quality product (well it will be the last ride I get !!)

    Actually, that looks like a Ferrari trophy. They had one at the Gooding’s auction in Amelia Island. I fell in love with it. Well made very heavy. But it sold for over $20,000. I’ll check to see if I can find a picture

    Can you buy the 1000 units and we'll go into business when the rest of the Ferrari losers realise this is a great idea :p

    The reality is that after you die nobody gives a **** unless they have to pay for the funeral and then it's "what a cheap bastard he was!!"
    Haha fuchs 'em :p

    I'm actually saving my boy the trouble of driving MY Ferrari out to see me at a grave site :D

    A highly important cast bronze Ferrari ‘Cavallino Rampante’ (‘Prancing Horse’) trophy, set on a square marbre rouge plinth, with stylised bronze racing cars applied to three sides of the plinth, the front bearing enamelled Ferrari badge and legend ‘ Col. R.J.Hoare’, (in cast bronze) the recipient of the trophy, and bearing the dates 1952 to 1963. Height overall: 17 inches (43 cms).

    Note: Colonel Hoare and Enzo Ferrari had known each other as friends and business colleagues for a number of years before Hoare was granted the concessionaires’ rights to import Ferrari cars into the UK after Mike Hawthorn’s death in 1959. Provenance: the Estate of Colonel Ronald J Hoare.

    Provenance: the Estate of Colonel Ronald J Hoare.
    Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Hoare was granted the concessionaires’ rights to import Ferrari cars into the UK in 1960, following Mike Hawthorn’s death in 1959. This trophy was presented to Maranello Concessionaires in 1985, the year of Enzo Ferrari’s death, and commemorates the 25th anniversary of the concession.
