    Hi guys,

I am considering a set of 20" wheels for my 612. They are offered without tyres.
In the documentation I can not find the recommended tyre sizes for 20" wheels.

Can somebody check this for me? Probably someone with 20" challenge wheels.

Of course I need them for front and back.

    Thanks in advance!

Terry is spot on 360... this is what I did last year.
And I went for the Michelin Pilot Super Sport K2s.

How is the comfort with the 20" wheels? Is there any difference compared with (my current) 19"wheels?

I had the 18” modular wheels from the HGTx standard equipment on Pirellis before so can’t really say whether what I experience now is due to the 20” wheels or the move towards the superior Michelin K2s. What I can tell you is that the car feels much more stable, firm and focused and the driving experience is greatly enhanced. And that’s even before you start to consider the massive aesthetic improvement. It’s a no brainer in my opinion.

Sounds good! I see the challenge wheels on every 612. I don't like them so much. I obtain the 458 wheels. They fit perfect and look great.

I think there is more road noise, you also notice the road seams and the roughness on a bridge more with the 20" than 19". So it really depends on how much these things bother you or not. The driving performance seems better with the 20" wheels. But all coinsidered if I had 19" wheels I don't think I would spend any money go to 20" wheels for the reasons I have stated. But then I don't have to have the very best handling performance either.:)

Road noise is much caused by the tire profile, so I don't think it will make a lot difference. (but indeed maybe a little)

I live in the Netherlands, we pay a lot taxes for having and using a car. But the roads are absolute perfect. So no issues with road seams or bridges. I drive 80% of my time here. The other 20% in Germany (or perhaps UK or belgium) I surely will notice difference there, but no big deal.

Most "important" reason to choose the other wheels is the looks.

    Thanks all for the answers!

Road noise is also a function of the brand of tire. My Michelin Super Sports are far superior to Pirelli P Zeros in terms of road noise, as well as other factors.

These are 599 OEM Challenge wheels on the 612 with Continental ExtremeContact Tires. At the time of purchase, Michelin did not have the size available in the Pilot 4 yet and even at the Ferrari dealer the Pirelli P Zero tires where back ordered for more then a month and it was beautiful July weather in New England.

I had to replace the 19” OEM Pirelli P Zero as they were more then 10 years old and original to the car. It would not be fair to compare 10 year old tires to the new tires. I’m happy with my choice at that time.

My car was delivered new with Bridgestone Potenza run flat tires. I decided to go for run flats aswell om my new wheels. Michelin does not have them in this size, so I choose again for Bridgestone.
