I decided to Purchase the ENZO magazine at my local Barnes & Noble instead of subscribing.
I wish I could do that but I live in Switzerland and the mag is not available on any newsstand at all. The Enzo mag disaster continues. Marcel Massini
As of today, #8 is available at Barnes & Noble in the Atlanta area. Some nice articles: Froilan Gonzalez' win at Silverstone in '51, the undefeated hillclimb season of the 212 E in '69, and the 328-based GTS Turbo, which is the GTO's "little brother" mentioned on the cover.
Incredible. And I as a subscriber am still waiting for #8...………….(despite two fully paid subscriptions!). SHAME ON ENZO MAGAZINE and their really uncapable personnel. They treat their subscribers as idiots. Marcel Massini
When things worked the way they were supposed to, subscribers got their copies before the newsstands did.
So I get my 2nd renewal notice today. They can't even spell correctly? Seriously? Then they hi-lighted it. I'm still waiting for the remaining issues they owe me. WTF? Image Unavailable, Please Login
It is an English magazine, just say it in a West Country accent "your subscription as expoired my luvver"
It looks like that, for whatever reason, this is one magazine NOT to subscribe to and to buy it in person, if at all possible.
2-day site ban, permanent thread ban for Fokkev12. Spamming his extra issue #6 mercilessly on this thread.
I agree but I have a similar problem to Marcel: The nearest newsstand to me that carries Enzo is a three hour round-trip. And the roads aren't that interesting.
Subscribed last year and only ever gotten one issue. And that was after a very angry call and the customer service guy on the other line promised to send me all outstanding issues...
That's so aggravating. How can a business serving such a small market be that inept and apparently oblivious to how it's being perceived by its customers?
a) they cannot spell; b) their english is lazy, and; c) their english is incorrect. I have #8. If anybody who can't get a copy and wants it, drop me a PM. I'd only ask for postage costs. (Problem with "Word" spell checker, is that it was developed by a bunch of American kids in California for producing marketing material. More than three strikes there!)
The Enzo delivery situation for subscribers is bizarre and (from the posts here) inexplicably random. I received issue #8 last Tuesday (delivered to Germany), yet issue #7 was at least two and a half months late. I'd almost given up when it eventually arrived. Like a few others here I also subscribe to Octane Magazine, and that seems to arrive as regular as clockwork.
Yes, and now he's spamming my PM box. Just received a second PM if i might be interested in his issue #6. I can't politely reply to him by PM (might be to do with his ban??) so my reply here: NO! I'm NOT interested in your issue 6! If you desperately want to sell your spare copy PLEASE put an add here on this site at the appropriate place. Thank you!
I am not getting involved this time as it put me in the sin-bin when I commented before! See post #187 (which I had assumed had been deleted!)
There is a saying that there is no such thing as bad publicity. I think Eddie Jordan used to run his F1 team on this basis. Ten pages on Ferrari-Chat about subscriptions to this magazine suggest that Eddie was wrong. The magazine is great and I have all of them so far but surely they need to sort themselves out!
