Just waiting for a new main engine oil pipe to turn up before I take it on any long runs ................ naturally I get it back when premium is 189.9 per litre !!!
Fuel prices should be the least your worries. After today, we will all be pushed towards an electric fleet. Apparently.
I paid $95 to fill up the 308 yesterday, and it wasn't even completely empty! So I can't afford to drive it for the rest of the year. Oh well.

Why are Channel 9 trumpeting the return of 2 cheats as something special? At least 1 should never play rep again.. John
Fair go. I’m no fan of Warner, but they’ve served their time. And I’d add they served way more time than: Michael Atherton, Sachin Tendulkar, Waqar Younis, Rahul Dravid, the entire English cricket team in 2005, the entire Pakistan cricket team in 2006, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Shahid Afridi, Faf du Plessis (most hypocritically) and many others who have been accused and found guilty of the same indiscretion. Those two “cheats” you mention went through far more than any of the other cheats. I could speculate as to why, but it wouldn’t be popular with the PC crowd.
.....and I may hasten to add, that 'our' two have a great deal more talent and ability than half the blokes you mention.
No John, It's happened before, the ICC imposed a penalty, but the ACB had to be seen to be extra holy - holier than the rest of the cricketing world. This was industrial virtue signalling just because a few corporate noses got out of joint. Whoop-dee-doo. The only good thing to come out of it was the ACB got cleaned out as well. And Turnbull sticking his Chardonnay scented nose in was the final straw for me. Glad that puffed up wind bag is gone too.
Hi Pat, it is a thing that ticks me off, maybe nobody else. I'm showing my age but as a young man I played grade with and against a few test, shield and Gillette cup guys (remember when test players turned out for their clubs?). Nobody was making any money, most had normal jobs in banks, the public service or the cops and the game was played hard but fair - the gentlemen's game. Money has ruined it IMHO and turned into a show rather than a display of skill and cunning.
Yeah mate, I agree, but those days are long gone. You forgot to mention that people's opinions made it to the public arena because they were experts in their fields, as opposed to espousing ignorant views because they make the most noise. And people were famous for their achievements, not famous for being famous. And journalists reported the news, not their opinions. And blokes would have a beer in a social situation and talk sh*t to each other, as opposed to sitting behind a keyboard and.. oh, wait
